Our reservation included the all-you-can-eat option with unlimited wine. Despite this, our waiter failed to attend to our table appropriately. We did not receive water or wine until approximately 45 minutes after being seated, and over the course of TWO hours, we were served only one glass of wine. We ultimately had to serve ourselves and retrieve glassware on our own. Once we finally got the wine bottle, our waiter came to our table 20 minutes later to retrieve it from us. At one point, we even had to search for staff to request basic utensils in order to eat the food we had obtained. We asked for bread multiple times before it was brought to us.
Much of the food available was cold, except when taken directly from the grill. Additionally, while getting food, we observed a staff member alerting others after discovering something in the meat that clearly did not belong there. This was extremely concerning. The restrooms were unclean, and the cups at our table were not properly cleaned.
Even after speaking with the another staff that was NOT the manager to express our concerns, our waiter still did not return to properly attend to our table. We observed her providing bread and drinks to other tables, despite our having waited over an hour and having already raised complaints. Overall, we did not receive the service or experience we paid for.
This was particularly disappointing as we were celebrating two birthdays. As I write this, we are still waiting for our waiter to return so we may request dessert to celebrate said birthdays.
While I understand that restaurants can be busy and that staff members may be new, the level of neglect we experienced is unacceptable—especially after multiple complaints and after the restaurant had significantly decreased in volume.
Given that we had a reservation and the restaurant was aware of both our party size and the special occasion, the service should have reflected at least a basic level of attentiveness and professionalism.
Due to this experience, we will not be returning. If the restaurant is unable to manage large parties or high volumes of guests, better operational planning and staffing adjustments are clearly necessary.
First off I believe most of these 5 star reviews on here are written by the staff, management, or friends of the owners. They are all written the same way and mention servers by name. This place is awful. The food is awful, the service is awful, the price is twice as much as it should be for what it is and they will be out of business within a year
– meats, chicken and pork are cheap cuts, tough and almost inedible in most cases.
– half the meats/ chicken had no seasoning at all and the other half were ridiculously overly salted
– server was sweet and trying but she was not trained nearly well enough to be on her own. Service was not good.
– I told the server what we thought at the end and she didn’t think to even have a manager come speak with our table. She said well try us again in 2 months. No thank you.
– they had no diet soda available. Apparently they had to change out the syrup. How long does it take to change out syrup for soda? 2 hours? I drank water even though my meal was supposed to come with a soft drink.
– salad bar options are gross. Even the lettuce and spinach looked like they were sitting out there all day. Not crisp and fresh.
– they list 22 different types of meat/chicken/ or pork for dinner on their online menu. They offered about half that
– there is no way this place is staying open. People know good food and they know garbage food. You can’t trick people nowadays by charging $55 and giving cuts of meat my dog wouldn’t touch.
All told we were there about 30 minutes. I didn’t even get dessert I just wanted to get out of there. Mark this review ….6 months to a year they will be closed up and shuttered.
And you can’t make the excuse “we just opened “. It took this location three years to open. They knew they were opening for three years. They had all the time in the world to train staff, order product, prep product, do a soft opening….etc. if you are charging the public full price and taking peoples money there are no excuses.
The waiter, Gretchen, was so sweet and so willing to serve us with whatever we needed and it was awesome to have a waiter that had a great attitude and didn’t get annoyed at all of our requests lol .
She was attentive, professional, and very serviceable throughout our entire visit. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us consistently without being overwhelming. Her positive attitude and great customer service truly made our experience even better.
We will definitely be coming back — and we hope to have Katty as our waitress again! Highly recommend!
It’s rare to receive service that feels both professional and personal, but Angie delivered exactly that. She truly elevated our visit, and we left feeling well taken care of. We’ll definitely be returning — and hoping to be seated in Angie’s section again!
Unfortunately, expectations were high, but the restaurant seemed unprepared for the demand (perhaps because it’s newly opened). They were out of many popular items, including prime cuts of meat, sangria, fries, and even basic sodas. What remained felt like leftovers that had been sitting out for hours. While you can certainly fill up, the selection was limited to less desirable options.
Our server was very kind and apologetic, but she could barely bring what we requested, often explaining it was due to them “just opening.” The food we did get tasted okay, but both my wife and I had stomach issues afterward.
Compounding the issues: the restrooms had no toilet paper, clogged toilets that wouldn’t flush properly, and general chaos in the dining area, with loud noise, staff bumping into each other, and frequent breaking of plates/glasses.
We want to give them the benefit of the doubt and will likely try again in a few months once they’ve had time to stabilize operations. Right now, though, it felt unfair to pay full price when the staff themselves acknowledged the service and experience weren’t up to standard.
If you’re considering a visit soon, go in with patience and lowered expectations. Hopefully, they’ll get their act together more quickly. This concept has so much potential.
The meat station is the highlight — you can tell them exactly how you want your steak cooked and there’s a big variety of quality meats
Even better: the meal includes unlimited soda, a glass of wine or two beers , and dessert which makes it a great value.
Shoutout to our server Kathy for the great service! Definitely coming back
