My husband and I have frequented Roma many times over the years and even though the service was always good, a few months back we decided not to return because we just didn’t think the food was that great. About a month ago I read on NextDoor that Roma had a new menu and management team, so we decided to give it another try this past Saturday. So glad that we did – the food was excellent! My husband had the Chicken Florenzi and I had Pollo Marsala and we both cleaned our plates. My chicken was tender, served with fresh broccoli, spinach and mashed potato. The marsala sauce was light yet very flavorful. We look forward to returning again soon!

Excellent ambiance, very clean, attentive servers, congenial and very welcoming owner, the food is delicious. The seafood fettuccine with sundried tomatoes and abalone pieces in white sauce adds a great umami flavor to the dish, the balsamic mixture with the high quality olive oil served with the bread is uniquely blended. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a great place, excellent cuisine, good price.

We stopped here for lunch hoping for paella in their menu. Turns out it was in the summer menu. We ordered a calamari, great with the included fried green beans and fried artichoke. The arugula salad was nice, candied pecan and blue cheese with a balsamic dressing. We ordered a pork cutlets with demiglace, garlic mash potatoes and steamed veggies. The pork a tad dry and mash potatoes a little salty. We also ordered a carbonara and a porcini trufffle ravioli. Both were tasty but also on the salty side. Service was nice, we got bread and oil as well as waters when needed. The coffee is tasty even a decaf.

Food was pricy but low quality: everything basically tasted like can food, from the 4 tiny meatballs that cost $18 to the mashed potatoes that was not really expected to be served with chicken parm (menu did say chef’s veggie selection but, mashed potatoes, really?). My friend had a spot on comment: Chef Boyardee tastes better.
Service was inattentive. We didn’t get the bread, realized it midway through our meal and asked for it, was thrown with some bread but no olive oil that was supposed to come with it.
Overall a terrible value for the money and you’re doing yourself a disservice if you come here – there are dozens of better restaurants in the Bay Area.

We came here for our anniversary and it was delicious. I got the veal scalapinin and vegetables and it was amazing. My son got the linguine seafood and it was I recommend this dish if you like seafood. We also got the chicken parm and it was one of the best we have had. The staff is very friendly and we’re very prompt to fill empty drinks and remove used plates. We ate outside and the ambiance was lovely

I’m giving Roma a solid 4.5 out of 5! For Food, Service and Atmosphere. The bread and olive oil, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan and Capellini Pomodoro were all delicious and well presented. The Tiramisu dessert was scrumptious to the last bite.
The staff was so professional.

Downtown Menlo Park. Nice place. Outdoor seating. Carbonara portion small. Veal very thinly sliced. Taste of food good but not exceptional. Priced a bit high. Great service and friendly.

The service and outside seating were great. The servers were very attentive to our needs of increasing heater etc. The food was decent. I didn’t enjoy the aioli on the salmon much and vegetables were steamed well but nothing special.
