I may give this place another chance but not sure. Food tasted good but the portion of my corned beef hash was a garnish on my plate. See photos. That was before eating. Usually when you charge $13 eggs for two scrambled eggs and corn beef hash – the hash is the star. On this plate the plentiful rye toast was. I wondered if they ran out and this was the last of it. Service was great and friendly. Coffee was good.

Skip the others and go here!! Best breakfast out I’ve had in a very long time, and we go out to breakfast more often than we do dinner. We love our breakfast food, but I haven’t walked away from a breakfast out and been able to say, “I can’t wait to go back there because it was THAT good,” for years. Despite other reviews, I’d much prefer to have excellent quality food rather than giant portions (and who needs them??). The portion size was perfect (DEFINITELY not small), especially considering they use high-quality ingredients instead of skimping to save money. Cost is exactly what I pay at any other diner, and that food is typically not nearly as good. Not skimping on quality shows: the homefries were super good (they used yukon golds instead of crappy white). The sweet potato sausage hash (special for the day) was THE BEST hash I’ve had. Benedicts were perfect. My kids said their pancakes were the best diner pancakes they’ve had and they said the bacon was “perfectly made”. And this place has good coffee! Big pet peeve of mine is going for breakfast and being served terrible coffee. We are 50 mins away but just happened upon this place one morning while at appointments, but we will be making the trip up again, just to get some more of their excellent food.

A warm “good morning” from the waitress when I entered set the tone for an excellent breakfast. I ordered the sausage, biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and home fries. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and authentic like they were served up at a roadside diner in the low country. Top notch home fries too. Crispy and not greasy.

I ordered 2 eggs over easy, they were over medium, hash browns are sliced potatoes with the skin a few onions and no seasoning. 2 English muffins with extra butter were semi-rock hard. The Homemade Corned Beef Hash was fresh and I tasted a few larger pieces of corned beef but I think they grind the majority too much, over all though, fresh and yummy. Hometown feel, nice people and great service.

Definitely a place to rise and shine. The best part of this cafe is the personality. I feel as though I am at a friend’s house with mom makin’ breakfast. The Chef is terrific and makes you feel at home. The menu is extensive and everything looks delicious. You get a lot for your money and if I lived closer this would be my breakfast spot.

3r final time there. Ordered two meals with well done potatoes and bacon, neither of which was done correctly AT ALL!! My toast was nothing but bits.of ends of the loaf.
H ad to wait so long that we had to get it to go and the owner had nothing but attitude.

On the upside, our server (Paula??) was excellent and paid $20 for a $16 order because it wasn’t ger fault. Also the eggs were good.

Small breakfast spot. Quick service and friendly staff. Ordered bacon egg and cheese on Croissant, lumberjack omelette and a cup of coffee.

Best BLT, with avocado. Their breakfast blend coffee was a treat after 2 PM. (So many restaurants serve the burned roast, these days.)
