Have been trying to look for the most authentic Filipino food restaurant and this is the best so far cheap price and for a good portion. Definitely would be a weekly customer here!

“That pancit is so good!” said my mom. We’ve been driving down the 5 the last two days and we’re getting close to Sacramento and asked her what kinda food should we get? She talked about all the good Filipino food she used to get as a nurse but after retiring she hasn’t had none in too long. I googled best Filipino food in Sacramento and this place came up. We were greeted so kindly and were informed of the menu and even tried a sample of the foods we never heard of. This place is flavor town ! and it’s cozy and a nice sunny spot to have lunch. The beef steak is mouthwatering and I didn’t want it to be finish. Now I know where to go for tasty food next time im in town.

This is my go-to place for Filipino food in the area. Even if there aren’t many choices (2 really), this one is “turo-turo” (cooked and ready) style which I prefer.

The dishes here are fresh and delicious. My favorites so far are: lechon kawali and pinakbet. The inside is a typical cafeteria atmosphere, so don’t expect to bring your dates here.

My only critique is with the price. Let’s just say it’s not exactly “turo-turo” pricing. However, in this economy I am sure it’s substantiated but other Asian cuisines, especially Chinese food in the area, seem to be better value for money.

I was so excited to try this place but got there too late and missed out. Had an amazing woman give me some lumpia. I offered to pay but she said no. Was so kind! They were the best lumpia I have ever eaten!! Hope to come back someday to try all the other great dishes!!

I was overcharged here. It says 2 items combo plate is $12.99. I was charged $27 for my chicken adobo and beef stew. I was told I could not combine the two and had to pay for each separately. I asked the woman multiple times and she said I could not combine the items. Now I see online everyone else was able to. Highway robbery.

I have never eaten Filipino food before but because of this place I’m definitely going to go back and take my girlfriend. I cleaned my plate and I wasn’t that hungry when I stepped in. Not much of an atmosphere inside but that does not reflect the food. It was definitely good. I recommend going.

We went for lunch as soon as they opened the door at 1100 am. There was no food everything was still being cooked. After some time they started to bring out the food. Seems to me if you open the door the food should be out and ready. The food was ok but not the best I have had.

Update: I went back and this is the update. Theresa and I went to the restaurant last week. When we walked in we were not greeted by the front staff. She was very cold and not friendly. There was no one else in the restaurant and along comes a customer and just started ordering. Without flinching she made his order totally ignoring us. We ended up leaving and will never be back again. If your going to work with the public at least have some customer service skills.

Good Filipino / Pinoy food “turo-turo” style, meaning, food is already cooked and you just point to what you want. I had the lechon with with half rice and half pancit noodles for less than $10.
