It’s part of our family traditions. We love it here! This visit did not disappoint! The menu expanded and it’s always so good that we had to order our staples plus some! The poppers were still being talked about hours later for their outstanding presentation as well as the appreciation we have for just all around good ingredients: the bacon was thick, the stuffing filled the jalapeños, and the dip just was the topper for how awesome it is! We also ordered ‘The Mess’ and it was exactly as delicious as it sounds, surprisingly NOT messy! The mac’n’cheese Alfredo pizza was creamy goodness on a golden crust! We couldn’t decide so we just shared amongst ourselves and ate family-style. Perfect! We can’t wait to return!! Also… the service made us feel like family!

Tried calling a few times with no answer. When I arrived, Ethan provided me with extremely poor service and would not take my to go order when he was available.
Edit: After 10 minutes of waiting I left. I have spent hundreds of dollars over the last few past few months on lunches here and will not be returning nor recomending it any further.

We’ve been meaning to try Sand Trap for over a year, and after our first visit, we had to come back the next week. After Lucky Brewgrille in Mission closed, we’d been searching for a place that served affordable and awesome steaks, and we finally found it. Aside from the KC Strip, we also had the cheeseburger (not the best in KC–Walsh’s Corner Cocktails owns that honor–but very good), chicken wings (great), tacos (nothing fancy, cheap, decent), and homemade chips (awesome). The ambiance is friendly and fun, as is the service. You can tell that the regulars here love the food and staff. Two minor complaints, not enough to knock off a star: both time we visited, the men’s room was out of paper towels; and the parking lot is very dark.

We called Chad and his team for a place to come after a visitation at McGilley Chapel on State Line for my dear brother. They were so amazing with accommodations. We were unsure of group size, and they just rolled with it. They set up a taco bar and had extra staff ready to go!! It was such a comfortable vibe and the staff was amazing. We had a bigger crowd than anticipated. People were able to order off the menu as well as go through taco buffet. It really made our night!! Thanks again, Chad, Mary, Bev, and staff!!
