It’s in a strip mall so could be zero on atmosphere. The food was good. Priced pretty high but everything is nowadays. I had the birra platter and chips and queso. I think the chips and queso were &”$6.95 and it was small bowl. At least they didn’t make it so runny it wouldn’t stay on a chip like many restaurants do. Meal was $25 with tip and just water to drink so kind of pricey.

Five stars aren’t enough for Hacienda Jalisco! The food is absolutely superb—hot, incredibly flavorful, and the portions are generous. The service is fantastic; the staff are genuinely grateful to have you, and their hospitality is top-notch.
You have to try their nachos; they’re the best in Sioux Falls. I’d challenge anyone to try them and be disappointed. This was a truly wonderful experience. I’ll be telling everyone about this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Oh, and they give you cheesecake on your birthday!

This place is about as close to authentic Mexican food as you get in Sioux Falls. Portions were plentiful, staff friendly and the place was clean and quiet. Food came out quick and was delicious. I got the Chicken Enchilladas and my guest got the birria tacos. Will be back!

Hacienda Jalisco it’s a hidden gem in Sioux Falls.
This place has authentic Mexican food, the flavor it’s very rich and so delicious. The staff are very friendly and the staff goes to your table if you need anything else so you don’t have to stand up and keep enjoying their delicious food!
I definitely recommend this place; they have so many things to try!

Upon entering the establishment, we immediately noticed the cleanliness of the environment, both in appearance and scent. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. We were promptly seated at a table for two and ordered the Al Pastor Nachos along with three tacos, accompanied by a side of rice and beans.
The food was prepared within a reasonable time frame, and the staff kindly accommodated our special request to have the meat cooked a bit longer—something many other establishments are unwilling to do. The meal was outstanding and, without question, surpassed other Mexican restaurants we’ve tried in Sioux Falls.
They have certainly earned three new loyal customers, and we look forward to returning.

The ground beef could have used more toco flavoring. It would have been nice to get a heads up with the credit card fee, it was only a dollar fifty I think but I would have considered paying cash. The staff could have smiled more, been happy too I would consider coming back her though.
