We stopped in for dinner after hearing about this restaurant from a few friends.
The atmosphere was very open and welcoming. I enjoyed how it was decorated.
To start off we tried the RRBQ tater tots as they sounded sinful. It was an adequate portion that had pieces of BBQ pork and cheese on the tater tots. Unfortunately they were what seemed to be tater tots. We were envisioning a homemade tot similar to a home fry. They were very filling.
My husband had the prime rib brisket sandwich. He said it was very tender and flavorful.
I had the crispy chicken sandwich which seemed a tad under cooked and lacked flavor. I was thankful for the dipping sauce that it was served with. We both enjoyed the fries that came with our sandwiches.
We didn’t have dessert. A very limited dessert menu but we were too full to even consider it.
What we enjoyed the most was our waitress Jes. She was simply amazing. Very friendly and has a great personality.

Wow, everything was simply amazing down to the cornbread and the pickled onions. Sooo authentic and soooo good. Not to mention, reasonable prices and a super cute decor with a fireplace. They also had great music from a live band. Definitely coming back!

Delicious BBQ. Traveling back from Cape Cod when I stopped on a Sunday with the special being 50 cent wing night and it was worth it. The smoked wings were amazing and could have been a meal on their own. The brisket sandwich was tasty; thick bark, smoke ring, tender and juicy on the inside. Very popular, it seemed, with locals for good reason. Got crowded around 6pm.

Our server was super nice and attentive. The food took a little time to come out but it was worth the wait. Everything was delicious.
The place felt like you are at someone’s home being served a home cooked meal.
I just wish there was some background music or live music to add to its atmosphere.

Our first visit was great. They have a great drink menu with an outstanding selection of tequilas. The food was terrific. The bar is small but suits the place well. We had wings for starters they were brined, smoked, and then fried. They were delicious great smoke flavor but not overwhelming. I had the large brisket plate which was great, my wife had fish and chips, they were equally delicious. We shall return.

Had a great meal last night with my Best Bud for food and fun at the Red River Barbecue in Harwich Port, Cape Cod, Massachusetts..The food was nutritious, delicious, and very reasonably priced.
Great waitress, Erin E., did a great job briefing us on our great options, as it was our first visit.
She pointed out a card listing the specials for the evening, which turned out to be our roadmap for a great meal.
We both ordered double brisket smash with brisket, along with ribs and shrimp specials on the side.
Incredibly yummy in the tummy.
Great waitress Erin also provided great service throughout the meal, even as the place filled up and we were finishing up.
There is plenty of free parking in back via a driveway on the side of the building.
Hope to see you there when I get to go again; tell them you read about them on Google Maps

Outstanding food in a modern, relaxed, and friendly environment. Tried the cornbread and the brisket sandwich and they were both really delicious as well as generous servings.
Would absolutely recommend and return. Staff were a little bit slammed on our visit but still took very good care of us.

I’ve been here many times always trying to give it another chance. After three times, it’s is painfully mediocre. The BBQ is always so dry and one occasion just flat out cold/room temp. While the meat itself is yummy and cooked well, there is no extra seasoning to amplify the flavors, it’s very bland. The BBQ sauce is barely noticeable and they skimp you hard so you can’t enjoy it. Fries are fantastic though, so are the many sides. The service is always great and warm but the atmosphere is boring and bland like many other places on Cape Cod. Not a total avoid, definitely “a choice.” It’s nothing special, it does its job as a social place to be with friends.

I love coming here and the atmosphere and most food is very good!! Service was also amazing. One thing I would like to mention though are their chicken wings. No choice of sauce, only a dry rub with bbq sauce to dip in. The bbq sauce was good, but the wings were not too tasty, also in the whole restaurant there was no ranch or bleu cheese to dip them in. I was told the owner didn’t want to have either of them. I would understand if the wings could “hold their own” taste wise but they couldn’t. I get wings everywhere I go and I was excited to try them here but was sadly disappointed. Again, great restaurant and vibes, I love it here, as for the wings, I will not be getting them again.

An unexpected stop. A great place to stop and have a no seafood dinner. The brisket sandwich was great. Loved the mustard based bbq sauce. Pulled pork was good too. Had fried green tomatoes for the first time and they were light and crisp. Really enjoyed the food, def will return on our next cape trip. Service was great, server was super friendly and attentive. Very clean inside, and seating was ample. Over a must try.
