Very much enjoyed the food here! Stopped in for lunch on a whim while out with my bf on Valentine’s Day. I got the steak Mexican Nachos (added refried beans as well) and he got the steak torta. Both very good and definitely hit the spot. Not a huge space, but good for a nice little lunch or dinner with a friend. Food seems overall authentic and fairly priced.

A very pleasing experience from start to finish! I drove in from Illinois to meet up with family and had no idea where to eat, park, or even use the restroom. After finding a paid parking garage and exploring the area (which is definitely up-and-coming and full of potential), I turned a corner and spotted La Chinampa.
A quick Google search showed strong ratings, so I took a chance—and I’m so glad I did!
I walked in hoping for three things: a clean restroom, quick service, and good food.
They had all three—and more. ✅✅✅
The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the space was cozy—the perfect little spot to relax after a 2.5-hour drive while waiting on my family. What really stood out was the warm and friendly energy of the owner. You can feel the heart in this place.
La Chinampa took care of me, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. ❤️

What an incredible little restaurant! I had an Al Pastor pork Torta and horchata. Service was friendly, fast, and the portions were huge! It’s definitely more of a takeout place but I chose to dine in and they brought everything to my table. They also brought free chips and different salsas ! Will definitely be back to try something else next

We happened upon this gem while in Walkers Point. I had the chimichangas al pastor dinner and my wife had two tamales. All of it was delicious and the space was cozy. They brought out 3 hot sauces with our favorite being the chimichurri. It was spicy but so delicious.

My mom and i come here once or twice a week and it never gets old, the food is fantastic, the staff really knows how to throw down in the kitchen, they’re also super cool and friendly. The lengua tacos are insanely good, they do it RIGHT!

Alright look, I am at my table right now with 4 tacos in front of me and I had to stop eating to leave a 5 star review. I ordered 6, and 60 wouldn’t be enough. Holy mother of all things holy, if you want great tacos and guacamole, please get some of this food. It’s seriously just outright delicious.

If you want some good Mexican food, this is THE place to go. Honestly this may be the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Prices are unreal for the amount of delicious food you get! I’d consider this a hidden gem in the city, and totally worth trying out!

Cute and clean place, delicious food (especially the salsa, rice and beans and chicken tacos – Mexican style!) kind staff. Can’t ask for more than that! We will be back. The kids love the Disney Coco posters.
