The woman working the register, who may have been the owner or manager, was the rudest person I have ever encountered. The customer service was terrible, which I’m sure hurts the business. She was unhelpful with even simple questions, had a bitter expression, and glared at me as if she wished she were anywhere else. Because of how rude she was, I decided not to order anything. If you can imagine the most bitter and unhappy person you’ve ever met—you’ll find her here.

Nice little mom and pop off the 15 fwy in Hesperia. Was in the area for a party and wanted some grub before driving home. When you see a place with great reviews and inside a gas station (actually a small food court inside of a gas station), you get your hopes up. Something’s did not disappoint, but a few items were a miss too.
The good: menudo, taquitos and their salsas. They were out of oats and only comes with hominy, but flavors were spot on. Taquitos were crispy and flavorful. Salsas were fire. They had three and all were very good, with the dark red being spiciest.
The ok: asada burrito and taco. Both were small and could have had a little more meat. Burrito was mostly beans and taco was tiny.
The miss: hard shell taco. Was greasy greasy greasy! More lettuce and cheese could have masked that some, but was mostly tortilla which was drenched.

I read so many reviews about this spot, the majority of which are super positive. So we came to see what all the buzz is about. I ordered the California Monster burrito, at $15.49.. It comes with two different types of meat, fries, guacamole, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, and cheese. It was pretty good, but I wouldn’t call it excellent. My lady ordered the five rolled tacos which comes with a large drink at $11.99.. They come with meat of your choice on top of the taquitos. Besides the meat that comes inside the taquitos. She asked for Chile Verde on top, but it wasn’t very good. The taquitos arte also very thin. She also ordered a side of sour cream which came out to $1.99.. She asked for some cilantro and onion on the side, which every Mexican restaurant I’ve been to will give you for free. But they were charging us around $1.65.
Overall, the place is okay. But nothing wowed me to the point of wanting to visit again. I also want to mention that the lady in the kitchen, which I believe was the owner, wasn’t very friendly. I know this might sound picky, but a server’s attitude at any restaurant goes very very far. I think she was just having a bad day. But again, how you interact with your customers at a restaurant, goes a long way.

Call this place LA DOÑA AMARGADA!!!!Horrible service, ruddest attitude by the old lady in the front, she seems like the unhappiest person in the world. Cannot trust the food prepared by her, might be poisonous.

People complain about the lady. lol she works the kitchen. I showed up the same lady in the comment pictures was cooking and simply said one moment please and called up a cashier. Food was amazing and definitely home made flavor! I will be coming back for more!!!

The food was not good at all and the 2 staff members were rude . Instead of serving the customers they just keep on gossiping.

Came here from Hawaii to visit family. The burritos were very good. Tried the carne asada with guacamole and pico de gallo, filled with a ton of meat and flavored just right. I also tried the carne asada with beans and rice, very good as well. Will definitely come back again when I visit. Customer service was excellent as well, super nice and helpful with my order.

Normally I would rate them higher because I used to come here all the time and everything that I order is usually pretty good I haven’t been here for a while but I went back a couple days ago and got a carne asada burrito the cashier asked if I wasn’t beans and rice I said no beans because I don’t eat beans I can’t and light right and added some extras I got my burrito full of beans I got to the car and took a bite when I realized so my fiance went inside to try and get a new one and I guess they were giving him a hard time so I went in and told the cashier if I can get the burrito made again the right way because I can’t eat beans mind you rose the main lady is usually very sweet to me but this time however she wasn’t the cashier claimed she didn’t hear me say no beans and I was like well that isn’t my fault although I was irritated I still managed to be calm rose refused to make my burrito the correct way so I asked for a refund and she refused to give me a refund I paid 17 something on a burrito I couldn’t eat that they were not willing to fix so she stood there arguing with me as to why she wouldn’t give me another burrito and then tried to make me pay for another burrito and then tried to say I can pay half for another burrito which I refused and then she said she would make me a burrito but without all the extra toppings that I paid for long story short they have lost me as a customer

Bean and Cheese Burrito is the first one on the list and it’s quite good; lots of soft beans that have a little lard and some yellow cheese, but not too much. I like the green salsa on it. Real homemade taste. This small counter restaurant is inside the Chevron gas station at Main/Monte Vista on the north side so turn in there.
