Slot-T Beer Co.’s production brewery and brewpub complete with full kitchen and full bar is located in the heart of historic downtown Liberty Hill, TX. Our on premise brewery focuses on traditional style beers while often times featuring guest taps from other local breweries, wineries, and distilleries in the spirit of offering something for all craft beer, wine and distilled spirit enthusiasts. Perfect spot to have a beer and some nachos while sitting on their patio. Staff were all very nice and on top of everything. Food was awesome. Was graving some nachos and they were perfection. We also had the butter cake which will now be my new fixation. My wife had the Hef and she said it was really good. We are now adding this place to our regular rotation.

Went with the family and tried this place for the first time and it was delicious! It’s a pretty low key casual place and the menu is not very big but the food is tasty. We ordered the chips and queso, fish and chips, burger and kids chicken strips. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

I’ve been twice while traveling for work and both times were great! I had the chicken street tacos and they were top notch. The brewery itself has a nice, cozy feel and atmosphere. My beer of choice was a hazy IPA and it was solid! My buddy enjoys porters so I bought a 4 pack of their Bahr None for him to try at home ane he loved it. Therefore I had one last night and was very impressed! Ryan was serving that day and he was such a great guy and was really a joy to talk with!

Super fast service and food was cooked to perfection — sometimes fish and chips are on the soggy side, these were crispy and hot! Hubby’s sweet potato fries were awesome too. They have a big patio but we sat inside, tons of seating options.

We were in town for my son’s basketball tournament and decided to stop in for lunch. Upon arrival the staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food came out fresh and hot! My hubby found out that they have their own beer and definitely couldn’t leave without a pack. Thank you for the hospitality. If we ever return to your town this restaurant will be on our list

This review is more for the beer, service and atmosphere. We only got the nachos for food. They were good, but nothing spectacular. I will say they were a bit different than your standard nachos, bringing in some of that Texas BBQ tang.
My dad and I each got a flight, which was fantastic! All the beers were really good, and we took a pack home.
Our server—I forget his name (he’s from Houston), but he was great! Super friendly and helpful.
They had indoor and outdoor seating. My dad and I were the only ones indoor… but even still the atmosphere was nice. I’d love to see this town have a little more life to it… but maybe it’s just this time of year, or day? Regardless, if you find yourself here definitely check out Hell or Highwater

After driving past Hell or High Water for several years and saying “we really should try that place”… we did! Really glad we did! We had a good meal. Mel was our waiter, and he was awesome… attentive but not intrusive! We started with a top shelf margarita which was a little heavy on the salted rim, but a quick wipe with a napkin fixed that. The cocktail was very good.
For food we tried the reuben sandwich (with sauteed spinach), the fried shrimp (with baby gold potatoes and sauteed asparagus), and the fish and chips. My first observation was the food came out so hot, we had to let it cool for a minute or too! Perfect, we like really hot fried stuff! The reuben was good, a bit of a twist on the traditional with provolone cheese and “home-made russian sauce.” Tasty…
The fried shrimp were also good, breading just right, the tartar sauce was OK (we make our own at home, hard to beat). The fish and chips were the highlight… fish (cod) lightly battered, fried golden crisp, atop a mound of fries. We don’t eat fries often, so they gotta be good… these were. Delicious! We passed on dessert. Only two choices: chocolate cake and cinnamon apple brown butter cake. The pictures looked good, but we were stuffed! Recommend Hell or High Water.

I live in Round Rock and i drive 30 mins just to chill in this low key bar/restaurant/Brewery. Not only is the food great, they have amazing wings and appetizers. If you are a beer guy they have you covered. Want a little more frufru of a drink… They have you covered! Sit inside in the old historic building or hang out on the enormous covered back patio! 10 out of 10! I really feel at home here!
