Our service was fantastic, but honestly, I think I’ve had better corn beef elsewhere and the potato salad was meh. The corned beef was too tough and not really flavorful. However, my husband did enjoy his gyro with the recommended side salad.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering to-go from Niko’s Sandwich Board, and it was an absolute treat. I ordered the Reuben, and my wife went with the Hot Roast Beef, and both sandwiches were nothing short of fantastic. Each bite was clearly made with care, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The corned beef in the Reuben was perfectly tender, and the balance of flavors with the sauerkraut and Russian dressing was spot on. My wife’s Hot Roast Beef sandwich was equally impressive, with tender, flavorful roast beef stacked high and topped with just the right amount of seasoning. Both had a generous helping of chips and a crunchy pickle.

The menu features a wide range of deli sandwiches, wraps, pitas, paninis, soups, salads, and more. Everything sounded fantastic, and it was difficult to choose.

The inside of the restaurant is small but cozy, which gives it a homey and welcoming vibe. Despite the compact size, it feels like the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious sandwich. The staff was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience.

If you’re craving a great sandwich in the area, Niko’s Sandwich Board should definitely be on your list. You won’t be disappointed!

1st time at Niko’s. Ordered the matzah ball soup. Great flavor, matzah balls were tender, and the soup was piping hot! I ordered the Paris France French dip. The roast beef was lean and tender, and Au ju was very flavorful. Also ordered a roast turkey hot. Both sandwiches came with potato chips and a pickle spear. I would definitely go back and try another sandwich!

We are new to this tiny little restaurant hidden from the main street. It has been around for years and never about it. They serve up some great Matzahs ball soup, sandwiches and other miscellaneous items. The booths are old pews from a church, which is very interesting for repurposing seating arrangements. A definite hit. One of the staff members seemed to be short of attention to the customers in the business. I believe this might have had to do with closing approaching quickly for them as customers kept coming to sit down for food. Anyways we will be making the trip back to eat again.

I was really disappointed as I saw good reviews for this place. I got the hot pastrami “Stacked New York style ” recommended by the staff. It was NOT stacked, there was little meat and it had lot of fatty pieces. It came with ¼ length of pickle and chips. I asked if I could have another side. The bored server said yes. I asked for the slaw rather than the chips. Later I saw I was charged for little slaw that was given. The amount of meat and slaw does not equal to prices being charged. The rye bread had been toasted earlier with grill marks but it was cold. The only item that was good was the matzo balls soup. I felt the person behind the counter was bored out of her mind and could see she didn’t want to be there, no greeting or a smile. There is an outdoor seating and inside there were nice pictures on the wall.

They say they’re the best sandwich place in Akron… totally agree! I got the pesto sandwich and matzoh ball soup and it tasted so good. Customer service was also super sweet; they gave me recommendations and made me feel at home in their space. Hidden in Akron for sure! Ps: Lola, the dog I was Dogsitting, loved it too!!

Cool little neighborhood place. Food was good, Matzo ball soup was great. The only small call out is the portions were on the smaller side. I would also say the price is just a little more than the average. Staff was pleasant and festive for the holiday.

My mom and I love this place. The chicken lemon soup is out of this world and both of our sandwiches were perfection. Highly recommend this place!

It’s been a long time since I had been to the Sandwich Board. Luckily, nothing has changed. Still reliablely fresh food with attention to detail. I had the Reuben, and my lunch date had the Greek Pita, both were set at a good price point. The sandwiches were VERY good.

More of a hole in the wall than I expected, but clean with good service. Seems they focus on catering and mobile orders. Had a tasty turkey pesto sandwich, and their cheesecake which is reportedly from the classic Lou and Hy’s recipe (IYKYK), which was a little dry.
