My fiancé and I found this cute, little place about a month ago while driving through. We’ve been 3 times since. Love the atmosphere and the decor, very homey. Prices are decent, and they have a rewards system. The cheese dip could be better. The salsa is out of this world! This restaurant has earned a place in our “date night” book ❤️❤️

The food is great. The food really has improved with new owner change a few months ago. Owner really takes pride. I am a regular and I like this restaurant and recommend it.
An area that needs to be corrected is the bill. If you are to up-charge to pay with a card vs. cash, you need to let customers know there will be an up charge. This needs to be clear with a sign on the wall and percentage charged.
The price on the bill needs to match prices on menu, not up-charged and then discounted back later. If you do this then cash customers are paying tax at a higher rate than menu price. This billing isn’t correct and hard to figure out. Price on ticket should simply be price on menu, up-charge card customer after then have total so its clear. This is an up-charge to card customers not a discount for cash customers.

Stopped by El Mexicano and tried the steak fajita nachos—solid choice. The steak was flavorful, the veggies were cooked just right, and the portion was generous. Good spot if you’re craving Tex-Mex done right.

Traveled to the restaurant after trying to order over the phone as well as trying to order online. Phone was disconnected for over an hour and online ordering was not being accepted. When I very nicely informed the owner that he might have some broken communication, he said “good, we don’t want it anyway.” I guess he was talking about my business that he didn’t want, as I will not be giving him any of my business anymore. My family have been eating at that restaurant for 7 years, then this. My family and friends will not be eating they’re ever again. Piss poor service, worthy of driving elsewhere. Beware!
