From out of town, just driving through, stopped for some breakfast.
Customer service was top notch, but it was strange to order at the counter with a traditional looking diner.
Atmosphere is somehow casual and classy.
The Scramble was served faster than expected and amazing taste.
The latte was not to my taste, but to each their own (it was bitter/burnt). Some people like that, but I prefer a smooth dark/medium roast.
Despite the latte, I still give this place 5 stars.
I will definitely be back.

You cannot beat the energy and intention with which the staff at Bake My Day work to get you a hot, attractive meal! Today, there were only TWO staff running the show, yet they flew through a long line of patrons, some who died in…most picked up to-go orders.
Surprisingly with all the tables full, the room still felt cozy, and we were able to carry on a conversation. Shane, one of the owners, also acts as server, busboy, host, cashier, and manager. And he goes about every task with efficiency and a cheerful attitude. I believe when I commented about how many steps he’s racking up, he said. Yep, about 22 miles a day!
And…my bacon was crispy.

If you like spicy food, forget the menu and order the “Meet Your Maker” burger. This is an amazing heat that builds for around 15 minutes after you are done eating. But it is also the most delicious hot sauce I’ve ever had. I would travel across the state just to eat this burger, and if you enjoy hot food this is a must. Everything else is great as well, but trust me. Throw in a Pecan Pie Shake and you have the perfect meal. This place is a local treasure.

Stopped in for lunch while on a road trip. This place was pretty busy but everyone there was kind and patient. Didn’t wait long for my takeout order. Probably the best burrito for the price. The cheeseburger with home fries hit the spot. Five stars for having a small soda that is actually small.
