Ordered a to-go order for my son ( two Italian beef, fried pickles, and parm fries) and was told it would be 30-35 minutes. No big deal. We get there on time.. but he didn’t actually get his food for an hour and ten minutes. I can understand if you are busy being 5-10 minutes longer. Not double. Absolutely unacceptable. They gave him a $25 gift card for the trouble. Still not acceptable. The order should have been refunded, that is a ridiculous wait time.

The bartender Misty was so very busy but got it done, I applaud her.
I I came here for Texan burger & didn’t order it by name I said jalapeño burger- I screwed up
My burger was good thou, very well done.
Liked the show string fries-crispy.
I was too tired to go back to Galena & this place was so convenient just cross the street from where I stayed.

Great place, friendly staff, lots of food choices. Hand cut fries were awesome as was the pizza and for a sweet ending we devoured the dessert nugs. Will be going back to try more! Small meat lover’s pizza pictured.

We ordered a pizza on the way from Chicago to Galena for pickup. The pizza was near perfection for tavern style. Cracker thin crust, nice sauce and quality sausage and pepperoni. We’ll definitely be back. Staff were very friendly when we stopped to pickup the pizza.

Great place to stop for a sandwich when driving through Elizabeth, Illinois. Ordered a hamburger made fresh that day. They make their own Hamburger Buns and Pizza crust daily. Pizza Pie was great & The bartender gave us a lot of attention and enjoyed telling us about her place. Very friendly family atmosphere. Well Done Old Jug’s!

While the menu has changed, some decor has been removed, and for now, things aren’t totally as they were….. my hubby’s pizza was fantastic, as always! My cheeseburger and fries were yummy. I miss my pork tenderloin sandwich SO much!!! Our favorite server was there! And, our service from Stephen was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! We are SO happy that Jugs is back open and wish the COMPLETE SUCCESS to the new owners!!! We looooooove Jugs!!!!

Waited an hour and a half when we were the first table there for 2 pizzas and a chicken sandwich. Ended up taking our food to go because we had somewhere else to be. Our bull was almost 80$ and the food was garbage. Nobody offered any sort of resolution for the long wait. Waitress was doing everything while the new owner stood behind the bar clueless. Wont be going back!
