Don’t bother getting a Blizzard, they ration out mix-ins like we are still at war with Germany. Just get a vanilla cone, it’s cheaper and tastes the same.

The worker was extremely rude. She gave me the wrong dipped cone and when I said it was wrong she slammed the window shut and screamed. Full blown screaming. She then proceeded to hand me the wrong flavor again and messed up our other orders as well. Never was I rude or impatient.

I normally do not have an issue when coming to this dairy queen. I did not recognize this particular employee I encountered tonight, but this girl clearly was not taught what customer service means. When I request for an item and pay for it and it’s not done correctly and I have to request to have it done right and I get an attitude about how yes it’s done right and argue with me is very poor customer service skills. I am the customer and if it is not right, I expect it to be done right. Customer service is not her forte.

Went to the Dairy Queen in McHenry on Schaid twice this week with 2 different family members. Today when we walked in and there were 5/FIVE employees just standing there having a grest conversation like we werent even there. After a few minutes we finally got waited on. BUT, both times I was NOT able to use my gift cards. They were able to take my credit though! They had NO explanation, just that the manager told them that. SO, I called around town and the other Dairy Queens are accepting them. STAY AWAY FROM THE MCHENRY DAIRY QUEEN if you want to use your gifts cards.

I’m an idiot. I went back to the Dairy Queen to buy gift card. Of course I should have know better not go to this store again, but I didnt. They couldnt sell me one.
THIS TIME……there were 2 young boys (maybe 8 or 9) behind the counter playing with all the candy toppings. Taking some of this and putting back others. Then grandma came out. I feel the health department should be called out. I will be contacting Dairy Queen headquarters. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!

The employees are very ignorant. Came in with a coupon that says 99¢ blizzard. The employee, only takes a dollar off. When the coupon said 99¢ blizzard. The only explanation this girl could give me is “I don’t know, I just work here.” Obviously they don’t train their employees very well if this Girl cannon comprehend how a coupon works. Even if the coupon is a typo. That should not change what the coupon says. That’s an issue with company Not me. The lack of common sense by this women was absurd. When I asked when a manger would be in. She said a few weeks? That’s the most concerning information I have ever heard. Because what manger in their right mind would leave THIS GIRL. Alone. To take care of this Dairy Queen. I will return. And I will get my 99¢ blizzard of any size.

Had a great experience with this Dairy Queen and the service from Gabby was phenomenal. Went above and beyond to help me make sure my order was above expectations and made my families night great! Definitely a great worker for this Dairy Queen to have and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience today! Of course we were feeling silly getting ice cream but obviously the cashier was not when we were giggling about something she rudl went oh what’s so funny???? And continued to give us a rude tone actually unacceptable so rusty malt will be seeing us more often now!

The girls that work at this Dairy Queen all deserve raises…this place is always packed on a Sunday night and they always greet with a smile and get our order speedy and perfect. I wish more customers could treat them with the kindness they deserve for making our delicious treats. Thanks DQ Queens ❤️

Drive thru cashier extremely rude with a major attitude. My passenger laughed at something completely unrelated and she asked in a rude tone “what’s funny?” When we said excuse me she continued a rude tone asking what else we want. Obviously this annoyed us and we left.

Walked in at about 9:15pm… the girl behind the counter doesnt even acknowledge that I exist. She yells to the other girl taking care of drive to come and take care of me. No good evening a hello.. we will be right with you. Then I’m sitting there and they say sorry just so you know our lobby closes at 9:30pm. 1st of all I came over cause google says 11pm and 2nd if you close at 930pm why dont you update the sign on your door. Overall terrible experience gave 1 extra star because ice cream was decent.
