We enjoyed a FIVE STAR ice cream stop for our grandkids on Merriweather Drive in Columbia! The service and decor is outstanding, but the ice cream is even better! A wide selection flavors including unique ice cream recipes. Stop an enjoy! See photos… Lots of space for the kids to run and play on the stage turf, with shops and restaurants on the open mall. Ice cream is always a hit here!! The seasonal and permanent flavors are all worth trying. My longtime favorite is the Salted caramel, but I’ve also enjoyed the Maryland mud, ube, and (for my matcha lovers) the hojicha.

The ice cream here was perfect. The shop has interesting colorful wall murals and other cute features. Waffle cones and bowls and large cookies were available. The salted caramel was amazing, and together with the deep dark chocolate created a very tasty combination. The staff were friendly and professional. I found out there are several shoppes in the Baltimore Washington metropolitan area and the factory is in Baltimore. If you love ice cream, you will love this place!

Fantastic experience! There was a line out the door, but the staff was very quick and professional. They were all working together in perfect harmony. The roasted strawberry and icecream sando were amazing. The color changing spoon is just chef’s kiss. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!

An absolutely perfect end to any evening, The Charmery consistently has good flavors and quick service. Be warned that there isn’t really anywhere to sit inside, but there are a few benches nearby to sit and enjoy. They even sell little pucks of dog ice cream!

I always like ice cream shops with either really good soft serve or creative hard ice cream flavors.
After trying old bay caramel and Saturday morning cartoons, ended up with a scoop of the latter. Was fast, reasonably priced, and pretty good ice cream.
I’d be back to try another creative flavor and get another color changing spoon.

Amazing ice cream! Creative flavors using lots of local ingredients like otterbein cookies. The staff is super nice and patient. No indoor seating at the moment – but there’s plenty of outdoor space to sit and enjoy

I really like this place. They always have good music playing when I’ve gone in, all different types of music. The staff is always friendly and smiling. It’s how they make the cones right there in front of you for me! The icecream is so good and rich in flavor. You can try what you like before making a decision. The paintings all around this little shop are so beautiful and vibrant in color. If your thinking about going…GO!
