I’ve been waiting a couple of months to make my way over to try this prime burger. Well worth the wait! Seasoned very well with great smoke flavor. Had to grab and go, and when I opened my to-go box, I was very happy to see all items to construct burger were individually packaged, preventing it from getting soggy. Great, speedy service as well

I purchased the Sunday Sampler that came with 1/2 lb of brisket, 1/2 lb of turkey, 2 different sausages and 4 sides.
The brisket was succulent with a nice bark. The turkey was juicy with good smokey notes and the sausages were both good.
We had 2 sides of the enchilada mac and cheese and 2 sides of the house beans. The mac and cheese was seasoned and super creamy. The beans had nice flavor and consistency.
It has an outdoor eating area, but I wouldn’t recommend. The flies are still in season. We just ate in car. Didn’t change my rating at all.
Overall I give this bbq joint a 9/10. (Rounds up to 5 stars)

Drive through only. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Limited selection of beverages – no water and no sugar free sodas/tea. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with jalapeno creamed corn. My husband ordered a garlic sausage and the brisket. There was a side of mustard for the sausage and BBQ sauce for the rest as well as some slices of bread for the brisket. There were, also, separate bags of onions and pickles for both of us. We dropped the tailgate down and ate there. The pulled pork sandwich was good and the serving size of pork was large. I had some left over. The cream corn was not what I was expecting. It was cream with some corn and jalapeno in it, and it was ok. The garlic sausage with the mustard was really good. The brisket was tender with a nice bark. They serve it in 1/2 or 1 pound serving. We both had leftovers.

Our first time to try the BBQ at the new location in Gregory and we all loved it!! The brisket, ribs, pulled pork were very tasty. Both kinds of sausage were great. Next time we will grab some chicken too.
The sampler is a good deal and feed four of us. Can hardly wait to go back and get more every weekend.

A small, unassuming shack in Portland is putting out some outstanding Texas barbecue.
Drive through only but you can park & tailgate-it easily enough.
Brisket is tender and delicious. Sausage links a bit small but tasty & the mustard with the sausages is some top notch dynamite level mustard. Pairs well.
Wife’s pork bbq sandwich was decent.
Texan sized helpings. We had leftovers.
Service was friendly. These folks like what they do.

First time customer. Ordered 1/2 lb of brisket with garlic pepper jack suasage and potato salad. First bite into the brisket left me speechless. Full of flavor till the last bite. Sausage was amazing. Potato salad was flavorful as well. Comes with toppings separately packaged. Packaging itself makes you feel VIP status. Their customer service was great. Beyond amazed with this place! Will be going back again and again.

We got the Game Day tray for our family of 5 to help us out during this busy weekend of kid activities. We will easily get three meals out of it (if not four). All of it is delicious, but the ribs are out of this world. Hands down the best bbq the area!

My husband and I tried this place with little expectations. We’re from Kansas City, where BBQ is king, and honestly we haven’t found one spot in the coastal bend where we would return…. until today. The staff is friendly, the outdoor patio was super clean, and the food was SUBERB! We got the sampler and ALL meats were SO GOOD. We tried 6 sides, and the only complaint was that we didn’t have more! We will DEFINETLY be back!!
