This place used to be packed with customers several years back and now it just me at 11:30am for some dim sum since they known for that. There is a parking lot behind the place and sideway that you can park (didn’t know and I parked in paid meter parking a block away). The place is old, just like the town, Chinatown that is. But it’s clean both inside and outside seating area. They got DimSum menu and regular menu. I did both, ordered 2 type of ShiuMai (8 pieces total), and wonton noodle soup. Was very disappointed with the shiumai cause it just rubbery for me even they came out hot and flavorful. As for the noodle soup, it was great, the broth is clear and well cooked, the noodle is perfect chewy but not chewy nor soft. The wonton filling is tasty and there a lot of topping into the soup, I do mean a lot. Really enjoyed the noodle but not the DimSum. The service is nice and friendly and when I came in, it was just me then several local (friends) came in and make the place alive over conversations and laughters. Oh the bathroom is outside way in the back of the parking lot so in case you need to know where.

I needed a snack so I stopped in and got the pork and shrimp shu mai, the chicken pan fried potstickers, and a slice of the sponge cake for takeaway. Everything was incredibly tasty, and the sponge cake is a perfect after meal treat (not too sweet!). I’m obsessed and can’t wait to go back for the noodles, the table next to me ordered some and they looked really good. The staff is friendly, the place is nice and clean, and there’s parking in the back!

Can’t go wrong with 3 orders of dim sum for $15 total!! Cha siu bao was the highlight. Nice spot for a snack while exploring Chinatown or passing through on your way downtown.

Tian’s Dim Sum is a great spot for people who’re craving for Dim Sum anytime before 8pm!
I found this Tian’s because my usual dim sum spot stops serving dimsum after 3pm and I’m sure I’m not the only one that craves for this delicious food in the afternoon!
The wonton in chile oil is a Must-try! Chicken feet has great texture. I abosutelh loved the pan fried chive dumplings! So juicy!
Keep in mind it’s in Chinatown, so don’t miss a parking spot!
Can’t wait to come again!

Dim sum here is fresh and tasty. The wanton stuffing is delicious and noodle is springy and soft. Good morning breakfast and we finished everything on the plates. Cheers

Mom and pop hole in the wall dim sum spot. Pretty good dim sum. Made to order. Served hot. Scallion pancake and beef roll served crispy and crunchy. Definitely would go again. Feels like eating in my fiancés moms Chinese kitchen. Tea served at the right temperature and not scalding hot like a lot of Chinese establishments. Only ate the dim sum but will try the Chinese dishes next time.

The price is definitely cheap, so is the quality. The BBQ pork bun test good because the pork has a lot of fat. The dumpling flour is so think that I don’t eat all of it. It is a family restuarant. They can not speak English well, but they seem nice. Their other menu looks good though. But I came here specifically for dim sum, which is disappointing. So do I recommend or come back? Definitely not for dim sum.

Dim sum only experience::

Hole in the wall place with a good selection of dim sum items and regular Chinese food. They have English names. Servers speak little English so it’s best to know what you want beforehand. No fuss experience overall. Price is good. Portions good. Chicken feet is huge . $54 for 7 items between two people. Personally I think I’m used to a style of sticky rice so it wasn’t my taste but it could for others. If you’re not sure what you want, there are options on the regular menu.

There might be cheaper places elsewhere but this is not bad for a quieter experience being there early

This place has been a staple in Chinatown for decades. Small, unassuming dim sum spot that is a must try! The staff is always friendly and the food is always amazing. The consistency and taste of the shumai and har gows rival much fancier dim dim restaurants. Small parking lot to the left of the store front if you do not want to park on the street. It’s a great place to stop by and grab some to-go dim sum for long road trips or a quick bite.
