Simple ingrediants hotplate that sizzle and completes cooking at the table. Been to several Pepper lunch in the past 20 years as some have and this one is true to the original limited restaurant. Eating areas are clean. There a plenty of seating for paties of 2 to 4. Service was quick and responsive. The serve Pepsi products. Parking lot is full during primetime and parking can be a challenge.

The shrimp/egg was delicious, and the Jumbo Beef was savory and filling.
We came here in summer and it was so hot inside but it’s spring and its nice and cool.
Hopefully this summer they’ll turn the AC on.

Definitely a great spot to try if you like sizzling plates. Ordered the jumbo beef pepper lunch and the kim chee beef pepper lunch, both were delicious. Added cheese and crunchy onions. The store itself has plenty of inside seating to dine in and is very clean.

Food was delicious and uniquely still cooking as we received it in a skillet. The only caveat is be REALLY careful as you stir your plate. The kids that we came with both got hot oil droplets splashed on them when they first took their forks to it. The plates do come with “Caution: HOT” labels around them as an extra reminder. Try to go before 5 PM to avoid the dinner rush.

If youve ever had Pepper Lunch in Japan, it isn’t the same here whatsoever. Pretty much the only thing that is consistent is what the food is served on. My go to in Japan was the beef rice which would be a generous portion of steak with a big serving of garlic butter and generous portion of rice and corn. At this location it was shredded, thin beef that tasted okay and no butter in sight with just enough food to cover the bottom of the plate. It was okay but nothing I would go out of my way for.

Phew!! What a delicious hidden gem in Las Vegas Nevada. Extremely hot and delicious food at an amazing price! $10-15 a plate that will leave you full, guaranteed. Staff was lovely and I genuinely have to note! This establishment had the cleanest if not THE cleanest restroom i’ve been in. Thanks Pepper Rice!

Food was delicious; piping hot and good flavor. Not sure what all the hate is about on Yelp. I would be back if I’m looking for a quick meal. The original beef bowl, kimchi beef, and the curry beef was all delicious. Skip the chicken as it was a tad on the dry side.
