My first Skyline experience. It was…ok. The service was kinda slow considering the limited menu.

Having coneys in the Coney Mall area seems quite fitting. The atmosphere was great for it. As a fan of Cincinnati-style chili, this is the perfect setting.
However, this was my second time at this location, and the chili dogs and fries have been consistently bad. The bun is really soggy, the hotdogs are tough, the chili was luke-warm, and so were the fries. The fries were overcooked, hard, dry, and somewhat hollow, and odd texture for a potato. I’m sure this is from constant reheating based on demand. For the price, you’ll walk away very disappointed.
Having said all that, the staff were great, professional, working really hard, and were very fast, so I will not diminish their service. I’d give them a 5/5. My portions have been consistent both times.
If this is your first time experiencing Cincinnati chili, this is not the place to do it because you may never try it again. Ultimately, you’ll be missing out on a proper experience.

Skyline might be an acquired taste for some, but it’s always delicious at Kings Island.

Kings island food can be hit or miss but skyline adds consistency to the food options there. It is insanely slow though. Often just 1 person at the register. Not sure if they are just always short staffed or just poorly managed.

Great place, first time I’ve been here. Good food for the price you are paying. I got a regular chili dog with cheese on it. It was very tasty but a little messy. You could easily easy this with a fork and knife and avoid the mess. Service was polite and very fast. Will definitely be coming back when I am in the area.

My daughter, wife and I ate here at Kings Island in Ohio. We all ordered the 5 way spaghetti and fries. The spaghetti was covered with a special meat sauce and shredded cheese that was so thick that there was no way we could eat it all and the fries too. And it all tasted really good. The place was clean and had plenty of seating. We don’t have one where we live yet ,but there opening one in Lexington the end of summer and we can’t wait. My wife bought some Skyline Chili at Kroger’s the other day so we can fix or own.

There are limited options, which is somewhat to be expected at a theme park, but it doesn’t really make sense why beans aren’t an option for the chili spaghetti, since the 4-way is an option and they build it in front of you.
We went to the park on Monday 6/10/19 when it was a lighter attendance day, and the restaurant was a mess. There was pop and cheese and ice spilled on the customer-side of the counter, which no one moved to clean up, and nearly every table was dirty. It had obviously not been cleaned during or right after the lunch rush (we were there around 2:30pm).
The food itself was good, with generous portions. The workers at the counter were pleasant enough, it just didn’t seem like it was staffed well enough for them to keep up with serving people and cleaning.
I will say it was atypical for a restaurant at the park to be as messy as it was.

I don’t like chili but believe it or not this actually tastes so good and then when you pile on the cheese and then continue to pile it on until you can’t see any chili at all then it’s ultimately tasty plus they care about their customers which is different for me since all fast food type restaurants don’t give a rats but. You need to try it yourself but for me I’m skeptical of a lot of things and this place actually rocks or at least when I was there who knows if it still tastes good

Purchased the all season drink pass with a souvenir bottle, waited in line for 30 minutes, only to be told that the drink pass will not allow me to use a single paper cup, instead of the plastic (barely dishwater safe, if any) souvenir bottle. Thanks, Skyline and Kings Island. You’re the best. You’ve literally dropped at least 5 paper cups today, and I would have been okay with a plastic, free, water cup instead. That was a very lame experience.
