Been to the store today. My mum ordered Maki Sushi. When I arrived I told the lady to please change the sushi as we don’t want the maki Sushi. Ayanda was very rude , she did not want to listen to me. She continued arguing in front of customers. Even after me telling her to rather be quiet instead of arguing she continued. We canceled our order as we weren’t getting any help from Ayander. She refused to listen to what I wanted. I even asked her for a pamphlet an she said there isn’t any. She was also very racist. When the ethnic customer came in an she was very friendly an helpful, yet to us she was rude. Please teach ur staff customer service. An not to argue but listen to customer. Very very poor service

In my opinion this branch needs to close down. The food is not just bad it is appalling. I used to purchase from them twice a week then once a week then just once a month. I keep giving them a chance thinking that the standard of food will improve but instead it gets worse. The owner needs to consider employing better management and better kitchen staff. I have eaten numerous times from the other Fishaway branches in Durban, Newcastle and Johannesburg and the food is tasty and well prepared however this branch is just one disappointment after another. Tonight was the last straw. I decided to try the veggie pops and it was my first time buying this. I also bought the pop prawns and hake with rice. I fetched the food at 6:30pm and took it home and because they close at 7pm I couldn’t return it or I would have taken it back and asked the staff if they would eat the food they had given me. The veggie pops were not just burned but were burned so badly it was black! I was expecting it to be a golden brown in colour. The pop prawns were also overcooked with mostly just batter and prawns so thin they were non existent. The rice was still hard and the fish tasteless. I will not be buying from this branch again. I have reached the end of my patience with them.

Today was not good experience. It was last day of voucher so we decided to eat takeways. Went with voucher and ordered other things also got home the voucher meal was not in bag and gentlemen told me is there when he handed my order. Tried call the landline at 18:45 it says calling out of operating hours. If they down drive will be too late shop will be close. I need my meal for voucher. My order number is 116 on the 31 Jan 2023.

We are people who love fish but everytime we buy fish by you it’s smaller not even a kid will be happy with that small portion. The portions getting smaller and the prices more. We think of stopping to buy again by you. Really not worth the price.

The staff is chewing gum one way so irritated same applies to milky lane. Maybe it’s just me but I felt irritated. Secondly they gave me the wrong order instead of apologizing she kept mumbling with the gum in her mouth. Don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.
