To name this a pizza place is crazy, I had the special today on a Thursday of the carne con papas and it was delicious, meat was slightly tough but I got here at opening for lunch so I’m sure it will be better as the day progresses. Ysmari was very sweet and attentive throughout my experience.

I drive from far away just for this pizza — it’s that good! I’ve been to two of their locations and the quality is always consistent. The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and the places are always clean and inviting. Definitely one of my favorite pizza spots, and I’ll keep coming back!

The food was delicious! The personal cheese pizza was elite in my opinion and my toddlers because she stole it from me! My husband also ordered a ham one, I’m not into ham pizzas and that one was amazing as well. The batido de trigo was one of the best I’ve ever had in my opinion. Everywhere I go they are usually watered up but not this one, it was thick and icy cold just how I like it. The spaghetti was also amazing. We ordered to go and the food was still great by the time we got home. Definitely recommend!

We went here for a valentines breakfast. Waited maybe 15 mins for someone to even greet us at the table. There was a definite language barrier but was able to order. We sat in the restaurant an hour never got food. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant but looking at dumbfounded and not even coming up to us when waving them down to get an update. Almost no one is in the restaurant and you still can’t get to your guests in a timely fashion

I visited this location on January 1. If a location does not have adequate staff to handle the dinner rush, indoor dining should be closed and only takeout should be offered. We waited 24 minutes just for a waiter to take our order, then another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The order was only one pizza and a dish of rice with two fried eggs. Waiting a full hour for such a simple order is unacceptable.
The staff working that evening did the best they could given the limitations they were under. This is a management issue. Management owes customers an apology, and this situation should not happen again.

I decided to give Tauro a try because my father tried one of their pizzas 2 years ago in the Homestead location and told me they were delicious. I went to the Kendall location with serious doubts given the many 1 star recent reviews. My fears got proven. For starters the restaurant is empty, absolutely empty there’s no guests at all. None inside or outside. The poor staff is on top of you desperate to serve you and in hopes to earn tips, it seems to me its because the lack of customers. The first thing that threw me off is the price for family sized pizza $30 dollars for a ham and cheese pizza. $30 Dollars. Just to be safe I ordered a personal one and a spaghetti. My fears then again got confirmed. Crust is store bought and dry and undercooked. Sauce comes from a can. The cheese stinks. What my father tried 2 years ago is A TOTAL OPPOSITE of what I’ve experienced today. To top it all off the bill was $50 for 2 small pizzas and 2 small spaghetti(literally ham and cheese with canned sauce nothing else) The pizza was a disaster not only because of the stinky cheese but overall flavor, consistency and appereance, I can get a better quality pizza frozen from a supermarket. Simply undercooked, flavorless, just a total disaster. Also since I did a to-go order and did not tip due to the lack of quality of the food and very long time it took for the food to be ready in a 100% empty restaurant. The person who helped in the to-go window looked at me with a very nasty face, almost offended for not getting tipped for a to go order that all she did was hand me the food. As I left the location I thanked and waved goodbye and got completely ignored.My honest review is to avoid this place as long as they continue to operate with these standards. Also the music was very loud. Super loud to the point I couldn’t talk to my mother sitting across from me. It seems that they play the music loud in order to create an atmosphere but its obviously not working because there was zero customers on a Sunday at 7 PM. I will give them another shot after a while to see if things have improved but it looks like they aren’t even trying I actually feel bad for the staff. They’re desperate to work and there’s no business being drawn and as a restaurant their selling point is food. Which I give them a giant zero for. Stay away from here at least for now. If you don’t believe me go see for yourself.

No hostess. Only one waiter for the entire restaurant. Out of 20 tables / 12 tables were in use. We waited a long time at the table, about 30 minutes waiting for the waiter the take our drink annd food order. Our drinks were not served until after our meals were served and we still had to wait several more minutes for out soda drinks to come out. The food is good but not a pleasant experience.

The service was also poor; I had to call the waiter several times, and even so, I still left a tip out of courtesy. I paid almost $16 plus tip, around $20 total, for something that should never have been served that way.
