I would imagine if you’re a local not only do you know this place but also the owner/employees. So, as an outsider, this is for those who are passing through this little town. If you’re looking for a quick bit to eat on your travels, we highly recommend you stop here. Before you even try the food, the service from this husband/wife run store is consistently exceptional. We felt so welcomed and catered to the whole time we were here. We weren’t really hungry so we only got slices and a drink but it was delicious. I kept telling my wife about this place and we were driving through from visiting Tokeland WA and I had to stop to show her what I was talking about. Awesome people that I recommend you support if you can!

Had ice cream here this week (Tillamook, yum) & tonight had an 18″ BBQ chicken pizza delivered (w/extra sauce). We are new to the area & I gotta say, this pizza was amazing! Very flavorful & arrived hot off the press! Very personable delivery driver as usual! We met the owner and her daughter this week & what a team they are! Very hard working! Thank you for great service & quality food!

From a native pizza loving NY’ers point of view:
Service was wonderful. Friendly, greeted immediately upon arrival, with warm and genuine smiles. I placed an order to go, 1/2 plain cheese, half pepperoni. I was told the wait would be about 10 minutes, and that was very accurate. The place is clean, with tables and a dining area.
When I got my pizza I had to have a slice on the ride home (my drive home is about 30 minutes and I wanted to taste it fresh and hot!)
The pizza was pretty decent for a small town pizzeria and a town that hasn’t had the best choices for pizza…ever.
There are a few things I’d tweak….a thinner, crispier foldable crust and the sauce could be improved with a few more/extra herbs and spices. The crust had a rolled out feel to it. Hand tossing or hand stretching would definitely lend itself to a more authentic east coast pizza, but that may not be the goal, and I respect that. These things won’t stop me from ordering again should I feel the need to not make my own pizza.
I truly think the secret ingredient to authentic NY pizza is in the water. And we just don’t have that “tainted” NY water here! So, you make do with what you have, and Home Slice has done a decent job delivering a satisfying pizza. Nice job!

I’m changing my rating from 4 stars to 5! We went back in, cause I had gone in for a lunch slice a few days ago and thought, “hmmmm, the crust is different”. So I suggest to my husband we go in again and see what was up. We ordered half Hawaiian, half Meat and we both agree, the crust seemed different and better. More hand tossed or hand stretched as opposed to rolled out? Who know? We both just thought it was a good improvement on our first pizza….even though first one wasn’t bad at all! Just thought it warranted a star level change! Same wonderful, friendly service, too. Great staff! It’s nice when young people can look you in the eye, smile, and engage in conversation. It makes this grumpy old lady hopeful for the future with young people like that!
So yay! A big 5 stars and two thumbs up for Home Slice! We shall return!!

We were driving through Raymond on our way back to the Puget sound from the coast and had to stop at Home Slice Pizzeria! The service was outstanding, the restaurant was clean, tidy and inviting, and the pizza was out of this world! Plus, there was butcher block paper on the tables, where we got into a ruckus game of hangman. We loved it, and would highly recommend it. We will be back again!

Outstanding pizza. Dough was some of the best I’ve had stateside and I lived in Italy for several years.

Noticed the new owners had the shop opened up and walked by after stopping in the Thriftway just to see how it was looking inside and if they had a menu in the window. Started to walk off and the new owner popped out and beaconed us in. Really friendly people, and I like to support businesses in the area so he won us over. Ordered half cheese and half hot honey and pepperoni, just to get a baseline.
We were given a full hot honey pizza by mistake, and the owner immediately began making our original order without charge. I would have been understanding and just taken the one pizza, but I know they’re trying to make a good impression and conduct good, honest customer service, which I see and appreciate.
Cheese and sauce distribution is good, 95% coverage without bubbles or too much naked crust. Sauce is tasty, no intense herbs but fresh tomato taste. Cheese is a good quality mozzarella with good stretch and chew. Crust is relatively thin, could have a bit more chew and crisp but definitely fresh stuff so I can’t find a true complaint with it. The pepperoni was perfectly toasted on the edges and the hot honey, though currently trendy, does go very well with the pizza overall.
They have other items as well as a slice and a soda for ~$5 in the afternoons, so whether you’re looking for dinner or a small bite, they have an option for you.
I’ll definitely stop in again, I’m down here every 3 months or so and hope this place does well. Rooting for the new owner, he seems like a great guy trying to make a business work in a fairly financially depressed area. So keep in mind that they’re new when giving your reviews, they are willing to make mistakes right so just communicate!

6.10.24 wife and I ordered the 14 inch Combo Supreme..it was delivered…we devoured…any questions, see pics. Ok I’ll answer. Tasty firm crust, packed with flavorful toppings, and great conversation with Patrick. Highly recommend!

All around 5 stars ! Food is AMAZING! Chicken wings are the best we have ever had. (We had the spicy honey habanero). Pizza is incredible! Staff is super friendly, definitely a place to add to your coastal trip. Also it’s next to a really nice grocery store 🙂

The seating was tiny. 4 tables inside. If you have to wait for a table, then wait. It’s worth it. Pizza was great. The crust was a bit thicker than I would usually go for, but it was done perfect. A little crispy on the bottom, but still soft enough for the N.Y. fold, and plenty of toppings. The baked spaghetti was great too. The breadsticks were even good and I usually hate breadsticks. There is scratch made fudge, that I didn’t get to try, but looked great. There is also about 16 different kinds of ice cream to choose from, including at the time I was there, black licorice flavor that turned my whole mouth black. How fun. This is a great hidden gem. It’s a bit out of the way for me to go get pizza every day, but they do take n’ bake too, so I can take it home and still have it hot and fabulous. If you’re thinking about going, stop thinking, just go.
