Just came back from Jamaica and wanted some authentic jerk chicken. Ochio Rios did not disappoint. The flavors are incredible, and the portion of food you get for the price is actually cheaper then Jamaica. I have been back twice for the stew chicken and curry shrimp and both were just as amazing. If you want true authentic Jamaican food cooked with that island love, look no further than Ochio Rios.

The food tastes amazing! I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and beans with cabbage on the side, along with a beef patty. The only complaint that I do have is for DoorDash, my dasher got reassigned twice so I got it a little cold. I can’t wait to try something else soon!!

Let me tell yall something, I been looking for good, authentic Jamaican food for a number of years in the hudson valley area. If you’re from Brooklyn or Jamaica, you know it’s hard to find up here. I tried many and none met my expectations until now.
THIS place serves food that has flavor, freshness and ingredients you can taste and rice that’s cooked like rice and not mush. I tried a number of dishes and all of them satisfied my taste buds. The staff/owners are also wonderful people. Go RUN and get some for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. I have a picky 5 year old at home and she thoroughly enjoyed all of her food.

Extremely mid. Rasta pasta just tasted like Alfredo pasta but it was still good. And the jerk sauce wasn’t great, it was a bit sour. Definitely gonna order it dry next time. And the tostones are hard as a rock.
