Recently ate here and I am interested in coming back to try something else. I got the arctic shrimp roll. It was pretty good but I didn’t read that it was rice paper instead of seaweed. The chef seemed a bit irritated by my mistake so I just left it alone.

Nice atmosphere I ordered sesame chicken it wassupposed to come with a salad but I substitute it for soup. The soup was nearly cold. the sesame chicken was terrible I’ve been to many Chinese places I never had peanut butter Sesame chicken the server seemed nice saw her when we ordered and when we paid the me my sister and her 2 kids all had water the water was warm no ice after I drank all my water never saw the server I even held my glass high in the air thinking someone would see it then some tall Chinese dude came out still not acknowledging my empty glass my sister glass was empty as well the service was terrible especially with this being a high traffic area for tourists didn’t like how we had to enter through the rear of the building by the mop sinks definitely won’t be back me and my sister are not from the area honestly I don’t feel i should have even tipped definitely disappointed in the food won’t be back ever p.s learn customer service

Good, cheap, quick sushi.
Food is decent for the price, especially their lunch specials (nearly half price). There are fancier options even in Bethesda if that is what you want, yet I come here about once a week.
A true gem if your expectations match their hole-in-the-wall vibe, with American-style (sweet) but good-tasting sushi, soft jazz music playing in the background. This is fully comparable with other similar options in Rockville (noticeably better imho in some ways – faster service, fewer menu choices).
Most customers seem to order either delivery or pickup, so seating never seems an issue (since the pandemic, even at lunchtime, while the nearby NIH still hasn’t demanded full return to the workplace). Servers vary depending on who is there but food is always consistently high quality, at least over the last year.
I will definitely return, again and again and again.:-)

Ordered takeout. It was ready quickly. The salmon skin roll was crispy. The salmon roe tasted fresh. Reasonable price.

Absolutely loved it! The rolls are delicious and perfectly done. I got California Roll, Spicy Shrimp Roll and Eel Avocado Roll; the atmosphere is so calm and clean. I was hesitant to try but it’s a most, I may have found my new fav sushi place.

Everything was overcooked and inedible. Salmon was tough to chew, chicken couldn’t even break apart, and the sesame beef was like jerky.

Ordered 2 special sushi- love at first sight and volcano as well as a spicy tuna sushi. Everything was disappointing and stale. The crunchy rice flakes were not crunchy and tasted stale and the sushi was chewy and terrible. Will not be dining here again.

I asked specifically for certain sushi rolls but no reply 55.00 for below average for two.
Stopped answering phone calls way before closing.

Terrific sushi standby with all the usual menu suspects. Nothing fancy, but what they offer is delicious, fresh and well presented and portioned. I’ve probably eaten here 10 times, and I’ve never had a less than pleasant experience.

The quality here has gone down. We used to come all the time but no longer as good as it used to be.
We waited 25 minutes to get water. Our food took another 35 min to arrive. The sushi itself was mediocre, but the California rolls now have imitation crab and less flavor.
