A nice place to shoot pool with friends. There are at least 7 pool tables. Food prices just raised but servings are big. Karaoke on weekends.

Chorizo nachos are really really good. Everyone is friendly and the customer service is amazing. This is the only bar I come too.

I like the place, good biscuits and gravy (hard to find) and a great buttered rum. Long wait before getting food (food was worth it though), and waited over half a hour to pay my tab with cash out and at the bar = minus 2 stars. It wasn’t very busy but still seemed under staffed.
Update: I’ve visited a couple times since with better service, and the make a great buttered rum.
Update 2: new ownership, I didn’t see biscuits and gravy on the menu anymore :(. They didn’t have the makings for buttered rum :(. The steak fries and rubin sandwich was excellent. 🙂 The bartender lady poured some great drinks. People watching here is still some of the best in town. Getting a window seat is highly recommended.

Great place to relax, have a few drinks, play pool, and meet new people. I honestly wasn’t a fan of this place a year ago but after visiting again a few nights ago, my opinion of this bar has definitely improved by so much! It has definitely cleaned up a lot and the vibe is way more easygoing and fun. The food was great and the drinks even better. The bartenders were so kind and sweet! I had a great time, and will definitely be coming back! Thanks 🙂

Drink prices change, even when it’s the same drink and size. Price depends on who serves you. Have been ignored by bartenders many times when I had been waiting and they would go to others next to me then walk off across the bar. Once had a customer tell them they needed to help me that I had been here waiting. Karaoke is great but that’s about the only thing good about it.

Always get everything I order the way I order it. Most pool table selection in the entire area. I like that. It’s been my Cheers for over 40 years. I’m always happy to go play pool, get something to eat and drink, and visit with friends and new customers. My #1 choice to go hang out. There is only 7 pool tables but it seems like more.

The Maltese has 6+ pool tables I went on a Monday night not a ton of people. Pool was free. The majority of the pool cues were in good to great shape. Not the usual noodle sticks you find at bars. The staff was indifferent to our group. Not rude but not friendly. 16 oz cans seem to be their standard. $2.50 for PBR or Rainer. The taps that I saw didn’t have handles on them so I don’t think they had anything on draft.

The pool is always good, drinks are good, but the food is a absolute no go. Some of the worst fries I’ve ever had. Straight freezer burn, some over cooked, some under cooked. It’s almost as if they were cooking separately or came from a different batch idk. overall a good time but eat else where.

I’m not a fan of the owner from the past, but she has made some great decisions on who runs her establishment. I hadn’t stepped foot in this place for a few years, but have been in several times now and was pleased. The food and the staff are excellent, and I see great things and great times ahead for this place.

This Tavern is not called the Maltese anymore. It is now called the Station. Still give prompt service, the beer is cold, the pool tables are clean, the women are beautiful and one of them took me home the other night and cuddled me till the afternoon the next day. Good Job!
