San Marcos Mexican Grill was born 12 years ago, (2006), When the brothers Gomez, with an inspiring story full of perseverance, open the first restaurant. They every day are dedicated to bringing the quality of delicious dishes with the heart in everything they do. San Marcos Mexican Grill, located in Bainbridge (the first Location), Cairo, and soon our new location in Thomasville in Georgia, has brought the taste of authentic and fresh Mexican food for more of 12 years. In San Marcos, the emphasis is on local farm fresh ingredients, prepared passionately by talented chefs, making us remember with every bite the unique flavor of the whole Mexican region, with quality and excellent service.

So. Good. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the Chile rellenos (sp?) was made with a bell peppers instead of a poblano pepper. I was expecting some spice and didn’t get it. But the overall flavor was amazing!

If I could give a negative 10 stars I would, this restaurant is nasty! The food was greasy, tasted old and covered in sauces, the meat for the taco was red and chewy, the chicken fluata tasted like chicken from a can, and burnt, we took one bite sent food back and the manager wanted us to pay but would give us a great discount, I said absolutely NOT, I will not pay for garbage and he wanted to argue with us and said no ne has he ever complained before, which I find hard to believe! NEVER will we return!!

They have the best cheese dip and chips! Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. We ordered the steak with rice and beans. You have to try the fried ice cream, amazing! So delicious!!!

The staff is great, they are actually nice, and that is rare to find anymore. Good selection on the menu and the prices are fair. The food was wonderful, cooked correctly and flavorful. I loved the street tacos! I got to enjoy my food, never felt rushed.
Clean, it was clean, table was not sticky or greasy.
Floors were clean and the women’s bathroom was clean and stocked! Definitely recommend.

San Marcos is ALWAYS mine and my husband’s go-to place to eat. Truly one of the best restaurants in Thomasville! Every server is always so kind and attentive. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always fast, fresh, and hot. We absolutely LOVE this place!! I like to say that “we’re home!” when we pull in the parking lot!
