Great sandwich. Great beer. Amazing service. I stopped in after my soccer game because I live down the block. It feels really neighborhoodly. I got a Reuben on Rye, fries, and a beer. THIS WAS THE FIRST PLACE TO GIVE ME MAYO WITH FRIES WITHOUT ASKING!!! Anyone who knows me I always ask for mayo but I’ve stopped asking before I get them because everyone forgets. Regardless. The sandwich was huge. The fries were great. I will be returning despite the $20 bill for a sandwich and beer.

Onion skin, think slices unevenly cut, old bread. I am certain I ordered blue cheese, so what is that smear? Where is it? And what happened to the delicious French fries they had before? Was this place purchased by a new inexperienced owner? And where are all the waiting staff that attended us for 10 years? Oh, you can bet I will never eat there again.

This is a nice little pub, with a great selection of draft beer. I got the corn chowder, which had lots of crab. The soup was delicious, but it was too spicy, so I had only a few spoonsful. I was so disappointed. The chicken panini was very good, but it contained large chunks of chicken, which made it difficult to hold onto – the meat kept falling out.
The service here was excellent. However, when I told the wait person about the soup, she said sorry and took it away, but still charged me for it.
McShea’s has a great pub atmosphere. I’ll be back for the beer for sure, but maybe just have a snack next time.
I wanted to give four stars, but I was really bummed that the soup was too peppery to eat.

Adorable little bar!
Live music by a gentle man whom brought back some oldies.
Service was very good.
Food quality is not just bar food quality, it a combination of home town ma and pa cooking taste and then the bar feel.
Needing a place to get out and hang with the guys/gals? Would recommend.

The outdoor seating is really nice and they have live music a few times a week. They have happy hour drink and food specials. recently they added pizza which my kid loved. It has an old school tap room vibe where the whole family is welcome. Check out their website for take out family meals- they’re priced great and my kid loves the food and I love that it gives a night off from cooking without it costing as much as a week’s worth of groceries.

soild food. i had the fish and chips, three generous fish portions cooked well, a little oily, but not too bad. fries were really salty. wife had the shepherds pie, i tasted it, it was good. others in my party said the place is still the same as it was 20 and 30 years ago when they were in college and that the food has been consistently good. so if you have been doing something well for several decades that must be a good sign.

Cozy place that gives you that neighborhood pub feel when you enter the bar area, and then morphs into a restaurant as you exit the bar area and head into the dining room. It’s almost like two places and accommodates a dining family as well as a happy hour group without the two disturbing each other. The staff is attentive and really knows their beer knowledge for those looking to try something different. The food is always on point too.

We had a great time. We met on of the McShea’s who is the chef and he stopped and shared a few laughs and told us about his food. The atmosphere was just right, it wasn’t crowded and the folks in there were just as friendly. I will return again with friends.

Had a very nice time here while visiting a friend in Philly. The outdoor seating was comfy and cozy! They had live music that kept the atmosphere feeling good. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Would stop back here again!

The best food, both in-house and catering, the coziest atmosphere, and the greatest family. Trivia night is a blast. Huge portions of the fish and chips and if they have clam chowder on the menu order it, I still think about it weeks later.
