Joco’s is one of my go-to bars! And I think it’s a great casual, cozy spot by Moody Street. The food and beer menu offer a lot of options at pocket-friendly prices.
For appetizers, my personal favorite is the Buffalo Chicken Tots!
The staff are also friendly and fun to talk to.

Jocos is a great Moody st dive bar with good food. It’s somewhat small so seating for a large group can be hard. The staff is super friendly and the beers are cold. My friend and I got burgers which were very good, however my other friend got the tacos and they were lacking in seasoning and flavor. Great bar spot though, sometimes they have live bands and on Mondays it’s 25 cent wings and half off appetizers so that’s awesome. Overall, it’s one of Moody st’s more fun bars and I like it.

Shockingly good burgers, cooked perfectly to order. Good beer list, including a lot of locals and a steady stream of Guinness. The vibe is friendly and casual, would definitely recommend.

It’s possible that service is worse at night, but who knows. Expect to sit for 30 minutes and then another 20 when you ask if you can order food. The folks here will stand around and stare at nothing while ignoring you as you wave at them for service. It wasn’t only our table too. Absolutely ridiculous.

This restaurant is so poorly managed that they allow people to place delivery orders and then cancel them because they bit off more than they can chew no pun intended. Not really a loss cause the food here sucks and I hear the kitchen is dirty as hell. Maybe if they were better managed they’d have better food, healthier, working conditions and they’d actually be able to get deliveries to people instead of ruining everyone’s day by poor planning.

One of my favorite bars in Waltham. Over my stay I’ve had the Chili, Steak Tips, Quesadillas, Wings and the Hot Dogs. I didn’t go wrong any time. The beer selection is great (with a couple Maryland beers sprinkled in which won me over). It also helps that the owner of this place is super cool.
