After walking into the Washington Ave, Evansville Indiana location and being disappointed and grossed out, I decided to stop at Henderson, Kentucky location while was out running errands.
The restaurant was nice and clean. The tables, the condiment station, everything!
The staff was friendly and efficient. I had my food right away. I’ve never experienced that at the Evansville locations. The condiment station was stocked neatly. Again, something that I almost never experience in Evansville.
I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at the Henderson Taco John’s. I think this location is going to be my go-to when I’m craving some Taco John’s.

look this is not the fanciest place you can go, but you know what you’re getting into when you go here. They do exactly what they’re supposed to and it taste exactly like it supposed to. All in all it’s a great taco experience when you’re on the run and you’re looking for something affordable. It’s very similar to the other guy yeah I’m not gonna say his name you know who I’m talking about. We will go back we always go back.

Absolute Favorite! So good. Tried the new quesadilla tacos (chicken). Absolutely delicious. Also got our favorite beef tacos and of course potato oles and nacho cheese. Our favorite.

Generally I LOVE Taco John’s but on this visit I was more than disappointed.. I splurged & ordered the “Steak- Street Tacos Combo” & yes I upgraded it to a large & added cheese for my Potatoes Ole & a crunchy taco.. and yes I had sticker shock at $13.63 for my meal.. I even spoke with me manager.. twice before I left from the drive thru.. her explanation was cause I had ordered the steak.. really? Ok… yet when I got down the road & stopped to eat I opened up my tacos to find each one had only 6 (yes I counted them) very small pieces of “steak” in each one) see photos.. .and those were loaded on one end of the taco so half was just all veggies.. the “Tacos” also were more like bad versions of Gyros & nothing like a real ‘Street Taco”.. like I said disappointed. Loved the Potatoes Ole & the regular crunchy taco.

Great food..staff is excellent and orders are accurate…but the lobby was needing some attention..
They had some down time in-between orders one of them could have straightened up the lobby…however..I will be back..its Awesome food!

We ordered a taco salad and the Super Potato Ole’s. Both were fresh, hot, and delicious. We both had a special request on our orders and they were done properly. The store was clean, though dated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The new manager is doing a great job of making Taco John’s in Henderson a great place to eat.
