First time to Horizon Bagels & Cafe. Two words: so good! I ordered the daily special, the bologna breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel with green chile. Delicious! The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend.

Great little place in the NE heights. Good variety of bagels and smear. It’s not a NY bagel, but it sure is as close to a NY bagel place you’ll get in Albuquerque

One of the best bagels and breakfasts I’ve had in the city!
I don’t know if the corned beef hash was seasonal or not, but I love that it was on the special this morning.
I added a fried egg atop the latkes (which are pretty much like deep fried hash brown balls, crunchy on the outside and fluffy in) and the caramelized onions. The side of the deli mustard added the perfect sharpness to the special.
My partner got the trad Lox and bagel. The salmon was smoky, the capers were sour and popped perfectly, and the onions were nicely sliced.
The bagels were fresh, hard exterior, spongy inside, classic, but also topped with melted cheese and jalapeño (if you like spicy like I do.)
The corned beef hash reminded me of the hash up north in Santa Fe at The Pantry.
Their service was stellar, transparent, and accommodating.
The lattes were also paired perfect with everything we got.
Will definitely be back to try more breakfast specials and bagels!

I have been going to horizon bagels since they opened for there delicious bagels and grilled cheese on challah bread (seriously amazing). It was only today that I tried their matzo ball soup for the first time and, without exaggeration, it was truly a religious experience.

This place is a hidden gem off to the side of a strip mall. I am a truck driver who craves a good meal, Horizon Cafe made my day. Food was Superb. Absolutely delicious. The Everything bagel with green chile cream cheese and Lox was as good as it gets. ❤️

I ordered 3 bagels with green chile cream cheese , bacon, egg and sausage. When I picked up the food I had to wait 20 minutes because it’s one line for everyone whether you order online for pick up or to go. 2/3 bagels did not have cream cheese… I was disappointed because the food was great but the way they handled my situation when I called to inform them about my cream cheese missing they said “well refund you the cream cheese”, I’m not driving 20 minutes to wait 20 minutes in line for a petty refund… as a business owner you have to handle that differently ….

Great spot that opened up. It’s awesome to have more bagel places in ABQ, and real genuine bagels. Reminds me of home back on the East Coast. Super friendly staff. A whole array of baked goods and fresh cream cheese/schmear; fresh OJ and coffee. They do lunch too. The bagels are soft and chewy, full of flavor and the toppings don’t just crumble off. The bagel sandwiches are big too! There’s a decent sized sitting area inside to eat in or a few patio tables outside too.

I had a fantastic experience at Horizon Bagels and Cafe! I tried their green chili cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese, and it was nothing short of amazing. So for the last week, I’ve been getting their vegan lox on a green chili bagel and the last two times I got it, It was so delicious & one of the best things I’ve had. But I got it today and the bagels were sitting in a layer of vinegary oil and it completely ruined my meal. They were soggy from the oil and while trying to eat it was dripping copious amounts of oil. I don’t know why all the other times The bagels were dry and not sitting in any oil but today it was so gross. I couldn’t even eat it. Really disappointed.
