If you’re anywhere near Killen, AL, Lawler’s BBQ, is an absolute must-stop. The food is consistently fantastic—classic Alabama BBQ done right—but what really sets this location apart is the people.
Kayla and her staff are the absolute best. Every visit feels welcoming, friendly, and genuinely appreciated. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the experience, and it shows in the service every single time. Orders are right, the atmosphere is upbeat, and they go out of their way to make customers feel taken care of.
Great BBQ is easy to appreciate. Great people make you come back again and again—and that’s exactly what you get here. Highly recommended.

Don’t know what to give the best rating to…..IS it the food or IS it the Service….both of these are superb when you give the best of both worlds as this establishment does. Food is excellent. Service cannot be beat. My food is always ready when I am getting my change back when I am paying. Now you can’t beat that. Give these guys a try–you will not be disappointed!

I love this place. Everyone is so friendly. This restaurant is very clean and especially the restroom as well.
Everyone is very accommodating. This is A very kid-friendly place and they have handicap parking as well. The drive-thru is normally less than 2 minutes per customer. The food is the best and always fresh. I highly recommend Lawyers ❣️

Heey, it’s a Lawler’s. I’ve had better BBQ chicken from my own smoker. But, I didn’t hafta work half a day to prep this, win-win. The BBQ baked beans blew my mind, they’re fantastic. I’ve been eating at Lawler’s, Whitt’s, and Rick’s most of my life, and I will continue to support them all accordingly. Thanks for a satisfying impromptu lunch during my work day. We’ll see you all again.

I’ve been picking up loaded baked potato’s for the past few weeks. I’ve noticed the ingredients have lessened. My last order will be my last order for a while. The number of ingredients has lessened with each order.
The last order was with chicken. I noticed cheese, a touch of sour cream?, My first 2 experiences were great. They were indeed LOADED! The following less and less. Something has changed, care, mngmt, procedure??? My last order was less than descent. Love your ribs and sandwiches you are my fave but your baked potato’s lack

I got a combo plate with chicken and pork and wish I would have got more!! Honestly, the way the meat was cooked and seasoned you didn’t even need to add red or white sauce to it! The sauces are definitely LawLers own hand crafted recipe, ohhhh so good! Enough zip and zing to keep the taste buds wanting more! I will definitely be back, bringing more people with me too! Thank you!
