We had a large party and staff took good care of us. It was my boyfriends birthday as well and he ordered the Spicy salmon bowl and he absolutely loved it!!

In town for silver sticks- this restaurant was perfect! Open late for post hockey game eating needs! We went 3 days in a row while staying at st Clair inn. Food was great every time- got take out and dined in.

Our waitress was good but overall service is not great. We stood at the door waiting while employees walked by glanced at us and didn’t say a word. Then what I assume to be a manager should was in the kitchen joking around with staff, man with dark hair, asked if we had been helped, I told him no and we had been standing there for some time. He proceeded to say, ok someone will be by to help you and walked away! He eventually sat us but didn’t offer an apology for the wait or anything. Just garbage customer service. For the price, won’t be back. Food is fine, just typical bar food. Only reason we didn’t leave was because we were hungry.

Only went to meet with friends so no food. Hamblin had a great variety of beers on tap. I had a Winter White and Yengling. Great service from Jess the bartender. She was patient when we werent ordering but checking back often when we were ready.

Everything was great our waitress was amazing I wish I would have remembered her name she was very patient with my indecisive children. The kitchen was pretty slow for the restaurant not being packed. But our waitress kept coming out making sure our drinks were full letting us know that the food would be out hopefully soon.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years with friends and family at different times and days, and it’s always been a reliable spot. Tonight, however, was a huge disappointment.
A group of us came in around 9:30 PM on a Saturday, hungry and ready for food. Only one of us was under 21, but we weren’t coming for drinks—just dinner. Before we could even be seated, the host demanded IDs from everyone, even after we explained that we were only there to eat. Their attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming.
For the first time ever, we were told there’s a “no one under 21 after 9:00 PM” rule. This has never been mentioned before, despite all the times we’ve been there, and it made no sense considering the kitchen is open until midnight. It felt like they were making up the rule on the spot and assuming we’d try to sneak drinks to our underage friend.
What made it worse is that we could see families with kids seated outside at the same time, which felt like a double standard.
This experience left us frustrated and unwelcome. Sadly, after years of enjoying this place, I won’t be coming back due to this inconsistent and unfair policy.

Great bar across the road from the river. If you find yourself waiting in traffic when the bridge is up, ya may as well stop here and have a few beers!

Enjoy the food and atmosphere. But, please have a designated smoking area. Smokers were standing outside the open doors to smoke, then the smoke drifts inside the restaurant. Saw one couple move to a different table because of the smokers.

We ate at the Hamlin pub at the Saint Clair location for the first time on Tuesday, June 24th. The food was decent however the experience was disappointing. We decided to order an appetizer. We ordered the five wings for eight dollars and after placing the order my husband noticed the happy hour menu. We happened to be there at happy hour and they have a special of eight wings for $10 which the waitress did not mention when we were placing our order. After a few minutes of placing our order we asked the waitress if we could change it to the happy hour special, which was exactly the same. Both orders were for the boneless wings, same sauce, same everything. It was simply three more wings for two more dollars.
When I requested to make this change, the waitress indicated she would have to speak to her manager. She returned a few minutes later, stating that since the order had already been placed it could not be changed. This was extremely annoying. The fact that they were unwilling to make this small change really does not make me want to give them my business. If you do decide to try Hamlin pub make sure your order is absolutely correct as they will not make any changes even small ones to make their customers happy.

The pot roast was amazing. Other than they didn’t have any veggies left when I ordered, it was great. Service always had a smile. And the patio on a nice night was great. The little ones could run around in the grass and we could still see them easily from patio. Not to mention the view of the river during the day.
