Honestly, the food here is more than 5-star worthy.
The fries are perfectly crispy, the milkshake is refreshing and not overly sweet — just right, and the burgers are on another level. I’ve had great smash/press-style burgers in NYC and New Jersey, but these are better — and without the long commute.
I also tried the wings… and forget it. Absolutely incredible.
The only real problem is that this place is going to become an obsession.
The entire staff was great, but the manager truly impressed me. Even though he’s clearly the leader, he was hands-on — helping clean, packing orders, and genuinely making sure customers were taken care of. He took the time to recommend items based on what I asked for, was patient, never rushed me, and made the experience feel elevated — honestly closer to a Michelin-level dining experience, just in burger form.
This place gets everything right: food, service, and hospitality. Can’t recommend it enough.

I had a fantastic experience at Press Burger in New Canaan. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and upbeat. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. What truly elevated the visit, however, was the exceptional hospitality. Madison, the host, was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of. Her positive attitude set the tone for the entire experience. If you’re looking for great burgers paired with warm, professional service, Press Burger is absolutely worth a visit.

This place is a lil hidden gem in the heart of New Canaan. I stopped by for the first time there and it was a 5 star experience from service to food. I got a golden burger A Nashville Hot chicken sandwich , some crinkle cut fries and tenders. Al the General manager was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable on what I was eating. They sell Pat-Lafreida Burgers , Bell & Evan’s chicken , And use Zero acre Oil “Seed free Oil” which has more heart healthy fats and better for your body. He was also very Kid friendly and Gave my son a free whoopie pie as a dessert

Tried Press Burger today and it did not disappoint! The burger was super juicy and fresh — loved the crispy bacon and all the toppings. The bun was soft and perfect too.
And the crinkle fries? So good and crunchy. Overall, just a really good spot if you’re craving a solid burger and fries. Can’t wait to go back!

I’m a really picky eater and this was an easy 10/10. First off, the crinkle fries are the best hands down. The burger is perfect, I don’t like potato rolls at all but the burger was so good that I didn’t even care. So glad I stopped to try it! So much better than mega thick burgers, perfectly cooked. If you’ve ever heard the saying, “food for the soul”, they were referring to Press Burger. It’s the kind of place your heart wants to go to when its been having a rough day. The staff is professional and welcoming. The place is clean and organized. The menu is simple to navigate but difficult to make a decision because everything just looks way too good to pass up.
The k-town is what I would relate to a Korean inspired burger. It’s sweet and salty and if you pay close enough attention and get really quiet you’ll discover it has the most perfect hint of heat.
The crinkle cut fries are some of the best fries I’ve had in quite a long time. They are crispy on the outside and soft in the center. Dipping them in the secret cheese sauce is like 4th of July in your mouth, and explosion of joy and flavor.
The chocolate milk shake and Oreo milk shake are as filling as they are delicious.

Very good burgers and chicken sandwiches. I subtracted two stars due to their policy of no free glasses of water (a pet peeve of mine — just comes off as greedy), but otherwise, I thought the food was great and friendly service too. A lot of customization options, which was especially nice.
