Trader Joe’s just quietly raised the egg bite bar.

Stopped by the drive thru and tried the new Truffle Brie Egg Bite. Rich, fluffy, perfectly savory, with a subtle truffle flavor that feels luxe without being overpowering. The brie melts beautifully, the texture is spot on, and it genuinely tastes café quality without the café wait.

Starbucks, consider this your friendly notice.✨
10/10 would grab again.

I only rated it a 1 so I can write this review the wait time in the drive thru is ridiculous. If you go inside it’s worse, I ordered then after waiting 25mins and asked for my drink they never made it. They need new management ASAP or close them down

I am absolutely disgusted by the experience I had at this Starbucks drive-thru today.

I ordered two caramel brûlée lattes and two sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches on English muffins. Immediately after pulling away from the drive-thru, my son took one bite of his sandwich and spit it out because it was ice cold in the center. Not lukewarm — cold.

I parked and went inside to explain exactly what happened. After waiting about 3–5 minutes, the server came back and handed me two “replacement” sandwiches. When my son opened his sandwich, it was very clearly the same sandwich he had already bitten and spit out earlier. Same bite mark. Same sandwich.

When I pointed this out, the server’s response was that she “didn’t know I wanted a new sandwich.” I’m not sure how returning a cold, bitten sandwich wouldn’t automatically imply I wanted a fresh one, but okay.

Then the manager chimed in with, “I don’t think anyone would give you a frozen sandwich.” That comment was both dismissive and insulting — essentially implying I was lying about what happened, rather than acknowledging a very real food safety issue.

To make matters worse, the final set of sandwiches they gave me were overcooked, completely swinging to the other extreme. By that point, I was already late for my son’s doctor appointment and didn’t have time to continue going back and forth.

This entire situation was handled with zero accountability, poor communication, and an unbelievable lack of common sense. Serving a cold sandwich to a child, handing back the same bitten food, and then indirectly accusing a customer of lying is absolutely unacceptable. I expect much better from a brand like Starbucks.

This is one of the worst locations I have been to – the customer service never improves and the employees always have an inconvenienced approach to customers. I am making this review in hopes that the team in charge of training will see it. This location is within walking distance of my home, yet I would rather drive 10 minutes away to avoid the repeated experiences I have with this Starbucks.

This has to be the slowest drive thru service on earth. I’ve been in this same spot for 25 minutes. I can’t even exit if I wanted to, this is insane and not fair to folks who stop to drive thru not sit forever, I am still here in line 28 minutes later. NEVER again

This Starbucks location is absolutely fantastic! The team here is always friendly, upbeat, and quick to make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. My drink is consistently perfect—fresh, smooth, and made exactly the way I like it every single time.

The store is spotless, the seating area is cozy, and the overall vibe is calm yet lively—perfect for grabbing a coffee before work or relaxing with friends. You can tell the staff genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

Huge thanks to the baristas for their kindness and consistency—this has become one of my favorite Starbucks stops in Maryland!

At this point, they really need to hire new staff. I waited nearly 8 minutes for a simple vanilla dark roast — and it came out lukewarm. This was at 5:45 AM with only two customers in line. When I asked how much longer it would be, the cashier seemed nervous to even ask the barista to pour a cup of coffee.

Whenever I want something beyond plain coffee, I’ve learned to order through the app — the drive-thru always manages to mess it up. Even the same drink tastes different every time. Aren’t the measurements supposed to be consistent?

I am writing to ask the management to try and address the issue of the drive through line. In my many years going to starbucks I’ve never seen one this slow. Everything else is up to part but this is a real issue for those who use that option for convenience.

The “Silent but Deadly” Caffeine Kick ☕️
4/5 – For the taste, not the small talk!
If you’re looking for a warm hug and a “Welcome to Starbucks, Sunshine!”, you might want to keep driving. But if you want a mocha that hits like a freight train of perfection, you’ve found your spot.
Here is the breakdown of my “Auto-Pilot” adventure:
The “Ghost Town” Welcome
The Wait: I pulled up to the kiosk and… crickets. After a solid minute of contemplating my life choices, I had to drop the “Hello?” to wake up the speakers.
The Vibe: Let’s call it “Sterile Chic.” No name exchange, no “How’s your morning?”, just a “Hold on” and a vibe that felt like I was renewing my driver’s license rather than buying a treat.
The Flaw File (Room for Improvement)
The Transactional Tango: It was very “Here you go, here you go.” I felt like I was on an assembly line.
The Napkin Nebula: Apparently, napkins are a myth here. I didn’t get a single one.
The Spoon Struggle: I had to ask for a spoon twice. To be fair, she gave it to me, but I had to work for it!
The Bread Mystery: No one asked if I wanted my banana bread warmed. In the world of Starbucks, that’s usually a legal requirement!
The “How Did She Do That?” Plot Twist
Despite the lack of fluff, this barista is a certified beverage wizard. Even though the interaction was on total auto-pilot, she absolutely nailed the execution.
The Mocha Masterpiece: I don’t know if it’s because I was exhausted or if she’s a secret chemist, but this was the best Mocha with double espresso I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, rich, and exactly what my soul needed.
The Bread Redemption: Even without being asked, the banana bread arrived at the perfect temperature. Delicious.
Order Accuracy: She didn’t repeat it back, she didn’t ask my name, but she got every single thing right.
The Verdict
We all have “Auto-Pilot” days. While the customer service was a bit robotic and skipped the “extras” (like napkins and names), the quality of the product totally superseded the sterile delivery. She clearly knows her craft—she just might need a little more coffee herself!
Would I go back? For that mocha? In a heartbeat.
