Clean and spacious. Plenty of veggies, fish cakes, and/or noodles to put in your Shabu shabu. Very unique types of noodles (ie: ube, taro, matcha) and fish cakes (with jalapeños).
Drinks are à la carte as well as any meat. But one portion of one meat order is enough for 2 people.
Kids under 10 pay a reduced fee per years of their age.

The atmosphere, food, and service was great! My family of 5 had Tobar as our waiter and he was awesome. He was attentive and very friendly. The selection of ingredients were good and once cooked were delicious. I would recommend Spring to anyone who wants buffet style ingredients to create a custom soup to your liking. The ice cream for desert is a nice conclusion to a good meal.

I ate here recently with my wife and son and the place was packed. Not I know why, because of the huge selection of food. Lots and lots of fresh vegetables, so many types of mushrooms, seaweeds, and too many frozen fish balls to choose from. Lots of meats or seafood can be added for a charge, as well. This all you can eat restaurant caters to all tastes. I like my broth spicy, while my wife doesn’t.
I’ll definitely eat here again!!

Food is always great here. Very fresh. Tables and food areas are kept clean. The service is a hit or miss. There have been times when some of the waiters aren’t as attentive as they should be (asking if you want your pot of broth need to refilled, drinks refilled, etc.).

As a frequent visitor to their Flushing location, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It offers more menu options, a wider variety of sauces, and a much better seating setup with a more comfortable atmosphere. The on-site free parking alone makes the trip worthwhile—even if the price per person is slightly higher.

If you like warming up gooey frozen fish balls, noodles, and vegetables then this is the shabu shabu experience for you. Food was fresh and healthy, but average in flavor, and they charge a nominal amount for meat/seafood additions and drinks. The ambience is clean and modern. It seems to be popular judging by the wait, but I’d personally rather go to a traditional restaurant than prepare my own food from a frozen buffet. Also, note that you cannot take any leftover food to go except maybe the ice cream which was pretty good. I might come back with a group of friends who wanted to try the experience, but it’s not something I crave or want to eat on the regular.

Oh my gosh, where do I start, this restaurant is AMAZING!!! It is pristine all around- quite literally spotless. The buffet has so many options to choose from and the team here is so kind and helpful. I loved the soft serve too. Definitely recommend the hot pot experience at Spring Shabu Shabu.

My boyfriend and I come here very often since it’s close to our house. We’ve always loved the Flushing location and were excited when a Long Island branch opened. The food is usually consistent, service is decent, and even on weekends we rarely have to wait. We’ve recommended this place to many friends.
Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, I found a spider/bug in my soup. I calmly removed it with my spoon and notified the waitress without making a scene. She brought over the manager, who apologized and suggested it may have fallen from the ceiling, then replaced the soup.
By that point, I had already lost my appetite and was understandably uncomfortable continuing to eat, though I tried anyway. Given the situation, I expected at least a small gesture such as comping the soup or offering a discount, but nothing was done. The manager didn’t check back with us afterward or acknowledge us again.
As regular customers who genuinely enjoy this restaurant and frequently recommend it, this was very disappointing. Mistakes happen, but how they’re handled matters. Better follow-up and customer service would have gone a long way here.

Spot’s spacious but still got that cozy feel. Solid spread of veggies and meats, all fresh. It’s straight hot pot (no grill) but they got ice cream on deck to wrap it up.

One of my favorite place to have dinner. Servers are all kind and mocktails are available with a good fixed price(my dauther loves). Vegetable is always fresh.
Unfortunately business hour is a bit short. During week days, they only serve dinner from 5:30. I wish I could have more chance to go more often.
