We went to do a vlog there for our YouTube channel. They have Great food and the atmosphere was very cozy. We ordered street tacos and Chili Rellenos and they were both excellent choices. We will be going back on their Taco Tuesday for 99 cent tacos. The staff was courteous and quick. We were very satisfied and we highly recommend this restaurant.

I went today to buy breakfast tacos paid $4.50 each taco i asked for bean and bacon tacos and some other tacos a total of 9 tacos… yesterday i bought 5 tacos and paid $2.50 a taco and those were better than the ones i bought today,paid $43 and some change for the ones i bought today they are good but they could of put more beans in my bacon bean tacos.

The smell when you walk through the doors is amazing. The aroma of the mesquite lets you know you’re in for a treat. Some of the best chips and salsa around town. I would have been happier with larger portions based on the price paid. $14 before tip for a carne guisada plate. There was enough for two tacos but I had to spread that out. Everything had great flavor and the waitress was very friendly.

I noticed this place while passing by one day and was curious to try it. My husband and I finally got around to going, and we were pleasantly surprised. We didn’t have any expectations, but the experience was wonderful.
The food was excellent—especially the chips and salsa. I had the fajita taco pasta, a taco, and a brisket taco, and everything was delicious, right down to the tortillas. The atmosphere felt very homey, and you could tell they put effort into creating it. We especially enjoyed the live classical guitar music. The only downside was the commercials playing in between, which disrupted the vibe a bit.
Overall, we really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

The waitress was not very attentive. The food was mediocre! Menudo had no hominey even after we asked for extra hominy! The huevos rancheros were good but the barbacoa was a little salty.

We visited El Mesquite for the first time and we were more then impressed. There food was delicious homemade tortillas and more. The atmosphere was amazing they were playin(old spanish songs)which had my mom and me enjoying every bit of it. They have so much authentic mexican style you felt you were really in a small restaurant in México. Owner shared a little background of there place and made sure everyone was welcomed and enjoying there food. Please visit this place you won’t regret it!
