The food was pretty good but honestly pricy for what it was. We liked the roast chicken, the pomodoro (prob my fave), beet salad, trout tartare. Another benefit is you can get a last min reservation here – the restaurant is pretty large.

Overall slightly disappointed. Everything was decent but definitely overhyped. Pomodoro Bucatini was great but small, burger was cooked nicely but just salty and lacking some flavor. Carpaccio was good with roe and capers underneath but flavor didnt stand out. Croquettas were ok. Apple pie tarte a la mode was tragic, was still cold inside and too sweet, undercooked apples and ice cream was so salty (and I usually love salty sweet desserts…). They should stop serving apple pie lol

Elegant Spot for Business Meetings + Elevated Happy Hour

Corner Bar is an excellent choice for a business meeting in the Lower East Side. The setting is refined and approachable, perfect for thoughtful conversation without loud noise or distractions.

Happy hour (2:30 to 5:30 PM daily) is a highlight. The menu includes beautifully crafted drinks, including creative mocktails, and select small plates that are both fresh and flavorful. It’s a sophisticated way to wind down or continue conversation over a light bite.

The crudo was a standout, delicately prepared and clearly high quality. Service was professional and perfectly timed, giving us space while still keeping everything running smoothly.

If you’re looking for a stylish, polished spot to host clients or colleagues, Corner Bar delivers. Will absolutely return.

My friends and I came to this place on Saturday mid morning, due to the place we really wanted to go being an hour and a half wait. So this was our spot to wait and have a Bloody Mary before we could be seated at the Golden Diner. The Bloody Mary here is excellent and completely different than most. It’s not a tomato forward taste profile, it had a lot of red pepper juice in it I believe. It was was excellent and distinguished. Highly recommend. The nearby Golden Diner was amazing as well.

I have the avocado toast for brunch. The Parsley dill and mint garnish on top was amazing. The mint just put it over the top!

Corner Bar in New York is an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends elegance with a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you step in, the ambiance is warm and inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

One of the standout dishes is undoubtedly the gnocchi—one of the best I’ve ever had. Each bite unfolds in layers of complex flavors, from the freshness of celery to the depth of truffle. It’s an absolute delicacy, perfectly balanced and exquisitely prepared.

The service is another highlight. Our bartender, originally from Colombia, was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. His recommendations were spot-on, elevating our dining experience even further.

The cocktails at Corner Bar are a true delight. Crafted with precision and creativity, they perfectly complement the dining experience. Whether you’re looking for a classic or something innovative, the bar delivers on all fronts.

This is the kind of place that invites you to linger. Start with dinner, indulge in the expertly curated dishes, and then move seamlessly into the cocktail bar for a nightcap. Corner Bar is a must-visit in New York, offering an impeccable blend of top-tier cuisine, excellent drinks, and world-class service.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The Bucatini Pomodoro, Caesar salad, fries, and burger are all consistently excellent. The service is top-notch, the wine selection is one of the best if not my favorite in Manhattan. I’ve never been disappointed in a bottle or a glass here. Bravo! As for the ambiance—whether in the bar or the dining room—is simply impeccable. Every detail is perfectly executed.

The first thing you will notice how charming and adorable the decor both indoor and out. The tables feel straight out of a French film and so this cafe culture at its best.

Situated inside a hotel you can enter through the corner of Canal or through the hotel. I say come in through the corner and leave out the back.

The food is simple and elegant. There are sufficient choices but not an abundance of options. Neither my guest or I wanted pasta for lunch so we were left only three options. We ordered the crudo, a club and the salad. Neither entree came with fries so we ordered them on the side. Everything was great and solid.

Staff are charming and fun. All in all a great spot for lunch.

The hotel also as a swanky cocktail lounge but you won’t get in without a reservation so if your planning a one two punch, in the evening best to come in to coordinate.

We stopped in to grab lunch on our recent trip to New York and this was one of our highlights! They not only allowed us to come in earlier than their posted lunch hours, but made our son’s pre-birthday lunch extra special with a candle and dessert.

The food was delicious, we all loved the burger and the craft cocktails were really well made and thought out. They made our last day in NY super special. Check out the cocktail lounge in the evenings!

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have better reviews. I was a bit reluctant before I went for the first time because the reviews were at 4.0. I had walked by the place and it looked nice from the outside, so I decided to try it even with a 4.0 review rating and I am really glad that I did, because it was great.

We sat at the bar so we could sit side-by-side. We had the Trout and Fries. Both were done perfectly. Our server was one of the bartenders and was super. My wife doesn’t eat onions or tomatoes and that can be hard sometimes to find a dish. The server took care to ensure my wife’s order didn’t have those ingredients and seemed genuinely interested in helping us have a great experience.

I also think that potentially some of the bad ratings here are for a different restaurant than this one because the food shown in the photos doesn’t look like what they serve here.

I highly recommend this place. It was great all around.
