What a wonderful find this morning! We were exploring the area after a visit to Montgomery and we wanted to find a place for breakfast. After we searched for local restaurants, we decided to stop at Bush’s Diner and we are very happy that we did.
We enjoyed a 2 egg breakfast plate with sausage, hash browns and biscuits. The coffee was delicious and the food was some of the best that we’ve ever had. We were surrounded by some great local folks and it seemed to me that they really like Bush’s Diner too.
The waitresses were fantastic and so nice as well as attentive and quick with the coffee. The food came out quickly and was fresh and hot.
I’ve marked Bush’s Diner as a favorite of mine and I think that you should too. We’re looking forward to our next trip when we try the lunch plates.

My chicken tenders had 2 barely cooked and 1 a very dark brown over cooked. Hubby ‘s Patty melt was very average and the potato salad had too much mustard. Service was deplorable. We were basically ignored, had to request drink refills from another server. Never received our tab because no one checked on us. I had to go to the counter, pay and get a to go box. I was shocked by the price of $24 for 2. It appeared the staff catered to the regulars, how can newcomers become regulars with this kind of service?

I love family owned diner’s. Food was good and they were anxious to please their customer’s! We had too much to eat even just ordering from the lunch menu. We will definitely be regulars here! Can’t wait to try their breakfast now.

My 1st visit to Bush’s Diner, I got an awesome/very tasty cheeseburger, crinkle cut french fries (always better than the straight version Imho) & ice cold/perfect sweet tea! The server was very nice & made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely visit again soon!

We had breakfast this morning and my husband is still talking about it at dinner. He had the chicken fried steak meal and ate the entire 2 plates. I had a fluffy stuffed Western Omelet that was delicious. Great service and food. Can’t wait.to go back!!

Here’s the thing;No one expects Incredible food in a little place, in a town we had never heard of before (until we googled Casinos in Alabama) in a building that is clearly a former Waffle House or huddle house [my husband & I are still debating this one] This IS that Surprise, and a wonderful one at that.
We looked up on Google places to get breakfast and Bush’s was on the list. To be completely honest, we pulled in Waffle Houses parking lot first but it was to packed and my guys lack patience.
The Precious Ladies,who are Extraordinary Servers, greeted us the moment we walked in. Our drinks were brought out quickly (excellent cup of coffee) and orders taken promptly.
Now…I could run on way to long about the “family feel”, great music in the background and efficiency of everyone there,But …I want to tell you that the Omlettes were a “change your life” experience. [I had the Vegetarian and my Daughter & Dad had the Western] Fluffy, Filled and absolutely Perfect.
I, seriously, can’t wait until we go back to Wetumpka Alabama just so I can go back to Bush’s for Breakfast! A Gazillion Star rating from our family.
