This was our first time visiting and the place had good reviews. I’m very Irish and I love Irish pubs, so I had high hopes. For being even mildly Irish themed, they don’t offer any Irish food at all. We ordered buffalo and teriyaki wings as an appetizer. The buffalo sauce was almost like an imitation buffalo sauce. Hardly looked or tasted like it. The wings were dry. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it had the same type of wings inside. It was watery and had little taste. My wife ordered the French Dip. That was also dry and flavorless. I was disappointed in the fries also. Very soft and over salted and the tater tots were almost undercooked. I really try to find something positive in all my reviews but this one is tough…there’s plenty of seating. I guess that’s the best thing I can say. There has to be some major improvements in the quality of food before we visit here again. I honestly can’t recommend this place in good conscience as a local guide.

Our family of 5 went to dinner early, the service was great… the food was the worse! When ‘part’ of the order came… fettuccine, it was sour, rotten. Our granddaughters chicken tenders were burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Finally our burgers came. The amount of GREASE in our baskets was disgusting! The waitress took my basket back to show the cooks. We paid $110. & some change for one of the worst meals we’ve ever had in Hastings. Disappointed!

Was in to play trivia last night and enjoy a few drinks with a friend. A group of women were in, appearing to have a catch-up gathering of some sort, when the female bartender (said she was the owner) was talking to one of them at the end of the table, raising her voice about a food order or miscommunication about an issue or complaint. As a patron who was not with that group, I was uncomfortable for some of them at the table. I am not sure of the nature of the complaint, issue or comment, but that was unnecessary to behave in that manner- and loud enough that it disrupted quite a few & had heads turning- regardless of the customer was in the wrong or you disagreed with them. There was only one waitress working, she appeared to be doing her best, but they were not busy and food & drinks times were long. We have not been to Coopers in a while, figured we would try a local place for a quick bite & trivia, but most likely will not be back if that’s how’s complaints/issues are handled. The burgers we had were good.

Wow, I am glad I stopped here. The place has a small town bar/grill vibe. The place is bright, clean, and the staff was very friendly. There was plenty of seating the bar high tables low tables and booths. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find the location as we drove by.
Service was quick we got our drinks and our food in a timely fashion. Everything was exactly as we ordered.
I got the burger of the month which was a Hawaiian burger. This burger was sweet slightly salty spicy and absolutely delicious. In fact I can honestly say it’s one of the best burgers I have had anywhere that I have ever been. My companion had the chicken strip melt sandwich and she said it was absolutely phenomenal.
I’d highly recommend this location for anybody coming through or living in the Hastings area. With service this good, food this good, in a building as nice as this, you’re sure to love it.

We have eaten here multiple times. This time we had lunch and Jenn was our server who was very sweet and attentive. They also had a Viking Game promotion and it was fun to see guests win each quarter. We will be back.

My son and I went here on a Friday at 4pm for an early dinner and had a great experience. The server was perfect and got us everything we needed. The food was fabulous, they had fresh hand cut fries and the wings and burgers were killer. I had an alcoholic drink and my son had a soda and our bill came to $21 after we used our $5 raider football coupon. You can’t find a more affordable place with homemade food in town anymore so we will definitely be going back. Way to go ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ keep it up pub 55

Food was good, hot and portions were large. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. There were 4 of us eating supper, plus we shared the cheese curds app with a delicious blueberry jam “ketchup” dip. I had the French Dip sandwich with fresh cut fries, my husband had the Pub 55 Melt with delicious tots. Our son had The Raider with the fries & our daughter in law had the Jack Burger with delicious onion rings!!! Everyone loved their food and two needed to take home about half. Quiet enough to carry on conversation from about 5:45-about 7:15 pm on a Monday evening. We had great service from Brooke! They served local craft beers from Spiral Brewery which was fun, plus a Raspberry Carbliss Vodka Cocktail which was lovely.
