Pizza Ranch in Carrington, ND is a place you fall in love with from the very first visit!!!
It’s not just about amazing food — it’s about the feeling.
The pizza is outstanding! My absolute favorites are the Cheese Pizza and Tuscan Roma.
The fried chicken is juicy with a perfectly crispy coating. The mashed potatoes are smooth and comforting, and the French fries are simply outstanding, especially the waffle fries — perfectly crispy and delicious. After that, the salads also deserve a special mention — always fresh and well balanced.
The dessert pizzas are a whole new level
Cherry and Apple are finger-licking good, and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza… I’m honestly speechless
And most importantly — the people. I have never met a friendlier, more welcoming staff. They create such a warm, cozy, home-like atmosphere that you truly want to come back like you’re coming home. Everything is always very clean, very warm, and incredibly comfortable.

Visited 4/19/25. There is a wide variety of pizza, a salad bar and chicken with sides. Very clean and such friendly workers/owners. There is also creamy chocolate ice cream. So glad we stopped here on our way North.

While driving to South Dakota on a 7 hour road trip, I decided to stop at this pizza ranch for lunch. My expectations were pretty low, seeing as how it’s in a pretty remote area and it’s buffet food. I was shocked at how amazing the customer service is here! The staff were more than helpful, custom made me a fresh cheese pizza and checked in on me multiple times through my meal. Thank you everyone for an amazing lunch today!

The Restaurant is clean, has a home feel to it, and the finished plates were taken away quickly. I always look forward to going to this restaurant when we travel to Carrington. Awesome to come for a visit from out of state to find brunch being served as well as the usual pizza ranch menu.Food was fresh and hot.Staff is very friendly. I recently took friends to lunch at Pizza Ranch and was delighted with the improved quality of food, as well as service, since new owners have taken over. There were at least 5 kinds of pizza, plus a dessert pizza and a pan full of loaded cheese sticks. Also, everything was continuously being replenished very nicely. The salad bar had leafy lettuce with at least 10 toppings and a nice selection of salad dressings. Fresh!!! Actually, one of my favorite parts of the whole buffet was the crispy chicken, along with mashed potatoes and gravy. To top it off, there was soft ice cream available. While there, I noticed the owner and helpers were constantly busy helping, cleaning and making sure everyone was well taken care of. Overall, the atmosphere had the ring of a place where people liked to come and eat. There were a LOT of people there for lunch, another good sign of having good food and service. The obvious hard work of the new owner needs to be recognized and supported! A great place!!!
