This place is awful.
Plain and simple.
I have always found something to appreciate in even the worst meals, but this? there are no redeeming qualities after our experience.
The Crab Rangoon was edible, considering the shrimp tasted like a dirty fish tank, the General Tso had the not so subtle flavor of dirt and the rice tasted like it was cooked in old dish water.
I have never given up on takeout after a few bites but first time for everything it seems.
Maybe we caught them on an off night but I don’t dare go a second time.
so disappointed in this place. Save yourself the time and money and look somewhere else.

I wish I took a picture. They had 4 turtles with about 4 inches of brown water in a ten gallon tank. I was just picking up a DoorDash order and almost had to step outside due to the disturbing sight of these, 4 inch in diameter AT LEAST, turtles crawling all over each other. I contacted a humane society hoping they are able to take action if not I will be going back to ask for them to surrender or buy the turtles off of them to find them new homes. I’m sure the food is good and I like to support small businesses but this was just horrible to see. I will take down the post if they chose to take better care of these animals.

We order lunch online from here at least once a week. We’ve never had any issues. Our order is always correct and the food is delicious. And the delivery people are very friendly and polite.

It was all “okay” the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t special or obsess worthy. Pricing was slightly above average in my opinion, in relation to the portions. Inside was your typical cluttered Chinese restaurant.

Orange Chicken and Pork Fried Rice was pretty good… With slices of real orange rinds – it was a delight to my taste buds . The food portions were really good for me – and no cheap foam carry out container here. The young man answering the phone to take orders was super easy to understand too.

The lobby of this place is essentially a garage. Boxes, fish tanks, weird covid-times order delivery box which is no longer used, everything dirty and 3rd world county feeling. It’s been like that since it opened. I haven’t been there in a few years, but it’s almost worse no. Got the bourbon chicken and it tasted very gritty like there was sand in it. Have to ring a bell to get service even though you’re standing 10′ from a worker and they can see you there. Never going back again, not worth the risk.

Not bad! Chinese chicken and mixed vegetable lunch special with pork fried rice. The chicken and veg were pretty good. The dish wasn’t too salty, greasy, or bland for my taste. It came with large office take out order and was still nice and hot.
The pork fried rice was ok. Definitely edible, but it was a little on the dry side and the little bits of pork were truly tiny. It could have been a little better. But overall, pretty good and I would order again. I thought the prices were good and the order was on time.

Tried this place and ordered 2 large beef with mixed veggie’s. Received some beef with mostly all broccoli. Very few other veggie’s. You could tell there was no love in the preparation of these 2 meals. Drenched in a gravy type sauce. To much sauce, and very little meat. I will not return. It was edible, but that is it!

This is a buffet. Every time I go to Harrisonburg I try to stop and have food at the China garden restaurant. Food is always fresh.
