First the good. Then the bad.
The food was super fresh. Hot and delicious.
The service was also terrific. Quick and very economical. The taco was perfect, as were the tamale.
Now. The bad.
My only complaint was that the HOT salsa…. meh… not so hot.
On a tortilla scale, 1-10. I give it an 8.7.
We live 120 miles south.
I’d make the drive for the service and the tamales. No question. No doubt.
Make the stop and enjoy.

Excellent food and excellent service at a very reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised with this little rural restaurant. The chips, salsa and queso were a great beginning. The beef fajita was awesome!. Spanish rice, lettuce, tomato and sour cream with tortillas, was a great side.

Small little hole in the wall restaurant! I believe they truly do try their best! I would be willing to give them another shot! I love Mexican food and can say this place served portions that would feed two people, off the lunch menu!

This little place was so yummy , our go too is usually el charo in crawfordsville but this will be our new go too. It was so filling and our waitesss was super super sweet we got

Absolutely love this place! It’s a hidden gem I didn’t know existed. They have a decent sized menu and the food there is amazing not to mention amazing customer service. Definitely one of my family’s new favorite spots. I would highly recommend getting the tamales!

The food here is really good. I had the al pastor pork tacos. I was so hungry I didn’t take a picture but the presentation even to go was great and the flavor was incredible! Their hot sauce is really good too!!! Really good local Mexican! My wife will be thrilled!
