Me and my friends had a night out and this man wouldn’t let us in the door. It was cold outside and we told him that we would just stand inside to get warm but would wait to order and he was insistant on not letting us in. It wasn’t a nice interaction as he kept yelling at us saying “it’s going to be another 10 minutes.” At that point it was 1am and was 50° outside and we just wanted to be in the warm and off the street. This Taco Bell has lost my business just because of how rude that guy was at the door.

I waited three hours for my food after it said it was ready. I was never let into the building to even think of grabbing it. The guy at the door was so rude, not just to me but to EVERYONE in line. I never got my food and don’t think I will ever eat at this location again.

I went to the Taco Bell on the Tuscaloosa Strip on October 2nd around 8:50 PM and had a terrible experience. When I got home, several items were missing from my order — 2 empanadas, 1 Doritos Cool Ranch taco, 1 Nacho Cheese taco, and 2 bags of chips.

I walked back to the store, was told they were out of empanadas, and had to wait about 20 minutes for the manager. When she finally arrived, she appeared to be high from marijuana and was yelling at customers about the bathrooms being closed. She said she couldn’t refund the missing items because she’d have to “refund the whole order” and instead offered Cinnabon Delights. I agreed, but I only received 1 order when I was supposed to get 2.

This location was completely unprofessional and raised serious food safety concerns. I just wanted my missing items or a refund, but left disappointed and uncomfortable.

Horrible experience, will not be returning to this location. Crunchwrap supreme was uncut as well as my friend’s quesadilla which was burnt. We were missing our sauces as well. The workers were extremely rude. One called out my friends order and placed it on the opposite counter where all the other orders were and he called it again a minute later. She went over to the counter that he had placed it at and the worker said “pay attention more and you’d get your food faster” and walked away. My friend had not said a word to provoke this rude and unnecessary comment. then, when she was trying to get her drink that she had ordered, they just handed her an empty cup.

This is one of the best Taco Bell locations I’ve been to! I placed a mobile order, and the employees were super fast to get my order complete. They were also super kind!

10/10 experience

Note: They don’t offer coffee at this location.

My original 4 star review recap is below, but the reason for this change is review is store hour policy. Recently, this taco bell changed its hours to 5pm to 2 am (all seven days of the week), despite consistent lunch orders and traffic. Given the proximity to the university, I think many expected better-quality hours and service despite the fact that it is summer. Why would I give money to a place that pretends the people who live here don’t exist 3 months out of the year and prefers to only caters to students. It was nice, until it wasn’t. My long tenure of having a tbell treat for lunch most weeks is no longer something I can abide.

“This is one of the most consistent and friendly Taco bells I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to. I go there frequently, once maybe twice a week, often picking up for more than myself. I’m kind of the office gremlin when it comes to picking up Taco Bell. A job. I gladly hold, because this Taco Bell rocks. They have tremendous customer service, friendly people, and consistently well made food. Recently, I made a review for another Taco Bell and tore him a new one and I just wanted everybody to know that there is a superior Taco Bell in this town and it’s the one on University.”

My friend was a disturbance and I went up to apologize that led to the Taco Bell workers asking what my name was in a very confrontational manner. I understand working in the food industry and understand it is not easy. But i was being nothing but sincere and I witnessed and an employeee tamper with my food. Being in the industry I understand frustrations with costumers but they would never lead me to asking for their friend who apologized name and to directly spit in their food. I paid 14 dollars for this and refused to eat it. At that point I was done with arguing. All I was asking for was professionalism and I was met with the opposite. Please don’t let the fact that you are on the most profiting street in America stray you away from providing quality service. Good luck to all those who work there I understand it’s not easy but you have to be able to withstand complainits without lashing out. God bless this establishment
