Not impressed at all. Won’t be back. Wait time was long. No beer available. Very very limited menu. Not authentic. My aunt was from Tijuana so I know authentic. This is not good food. Pricey. I’d rather eat at Taco Bell. Not to be insulting it’s just my and my husband opinion of dinner. We sat ordered and was out of there within 40 minutes and this is Dinner on a Friday evening. Won’t be back. I do not recommend unless you’re very hungry and simply cannot wait lol. “YE BE WARNED” ☠️

It tasted like it was warmed up. Like I know they have to warm some stuff, but like rice and beans should be hot at any Mexican restaurant. The stuffed chili pepper had good taste but it was flat like it was fried earlier that morning. Maybe it was the timing we came in but if I had a restaurant I would make sure every customer gets the same food no matter what time they come in. When it comes to food, consistency matters. Much.

Called this place to try and setup a business lunch for 10 people. A very rude woman picked up the phone, identified herself as the owner, and not a minute into the conversation said “whatever it is I’m not interested”.l and hung up. I called back and she wouldn’t pick up nor call
back after we left a voicemail about what we wanted to do for the event.
Guess where we are going to have our company’s monthly business lunch now? Definitely not at this joint where they talk like that to their potential customers.
I can’t believe a business owner would talk like that to anyone on the phone.
I just spoke to a nice gentleman at Fiesta en Jalisco that actually sounded Mexican. Very polite and set up everything there. Screw that other place.

For those who know me as Chef MyGailly. My experience at Luz’s was Great. Everything was fresh and hand made. The Sauce was good food was tasty, needed a little salt. But that makes it elderly friendly. Service was very friendly. For me it more like TexMex.

I went to Luz’s back when they were downtown. The Spanish rice tasted like they used pizza sauce. The meat had no flavor. Pretty much everything had no flavor. I grew up in a Latin American household and this food that claimed to be authentic but wasn’t, was pretty offensive. This is giving the locals the wrong idea of what authentic Latin American cuisine is, and I find it really sad. I’m just going to continue consuming the authentic food that comes out of my own kitchen.

Good visit this time. Food was better than previous visit. Had the taco-relleno-tostada plate, and it was very good. Their red and green Chile sauces are excellent and warmed the boca up nicely.
