We are visiting from out of town and wanted to eat at a local spot. This was the best place we could’ve chosen! The owner was so kind and sweet, and gave us amazing info about their food. On top of the great service, the food was amazing. We had the turkey melt and the kimchi sandwich. We had to get a third sandwich to go to have for later, because it was so good. The owner threw in a small cucumber salad for us to try which was so nice. I recommended this immediately to my friends who live locally!

Great artisan sandwich and salad shop located in historic downtown Eagle. The food is superb and always fills you up. Try the Salmon Potato Salad and I recommend getting there early to get some.

I enjoyed my lunch in this little spot in Eagle during our road trip. It’s a few minutes walk from Eagle’s Public Library. I visited it around 11:30am so they were not busy yet. The owner ( Maria, if I remember correctly), was very understanding and helpful when I asked about the sugar used in the menu. I have prediabetes and want to avoid added sugar as much as possible. She patiently answered my questions and also offered to substitute the cookies in the side dish with a cucumber salad. How kind of her!
I loved the sourdough bread used for the sandwich. She told me it’s baked from a local place in Boise and she also ordered for people nearby who didn’t want to make the trip there. The cucumber salad is simple but delicious. Apricots were used in the salad. Combined with apple cider vinegar, the salad is very flavorful.
Since I was the only customer eating in the shop at the moment, the owner was generous with her time and chatted with me. The place is cozy but not feeling too small. Interesting artworks decorates the wall and all the windows around make the space feel larger than it is. It actually has a coffee shop vibe. Very comfortable place to grab quick but healthy and good bites.

Tasso lunch place is so very unique. It is housed is an older house and their sandwiches and other foods are so differently unique. They make a killer kimchi sub that is to die for. The word tasso is from ham on the bone. They have sharable food as well that is so unique with in their deviled eggs. Come support a local business as money turns one approx 7 times in a local economy.
