At La Ingrata Camden, our birria tacos are the centerpiece of our kitchen. Made with premium beef brisket, our birria is slow-braised for a minimum of 12 hours to develop deep, rich flavor. Each batch begins with a house-made spice blend, crafted in-house using traditional techniques inspired by Mexico City and Puebla. Nothing is rushed—this is birria made with patience, intention, and respect for the process. La Ingrata Camden is a family-owned, BYOB Mexican restaurant serving scratch-made food, including house-made tortillas, artisan cheeses, and Mexican-inspired pizzas. I lived in LA for 15 years and thought I knew Mexican food. I’ve had some that comes close, but nothing as good as La Ingrata. The beans are to die for, the carnitas tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Everything was top tier. Green salsa also the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 Their tacos are all I can think about now.

They have fresh baked sweet bread (conchas) which are pretty good. I went to get desserts and flan is Okey, tres leches is pretty dry and no flavor. They had seasonal pumpkin which was super Bland and tasteless and pan de muerto which was great.
If you to dine in, be patient. Every time I have been there they take up to 1 hr to serve, super slow.
