I went there 12 years ago and was impressed by the quality. Sadly, it no longer holds the standard it used to. Sashimi is still good (luckily) but whoever the person did the Tempura needs to be re-trained. Simply not edible.

The sushi looked great, but we wanted to eat something different, the menu is rather classic nothing extra ordinary.
And it is overpriced.

Best sushi I ever found in Europe and most charming staff. All real professionals and dedicated to making your sushi experience unforgettable and real. The decoration and atmosphere is sparse because the focus is on service and fish quality, like all real sushi restaurants. Can’t recommend higher than this.

Typical Japanese specialties, really good quality. The high number of Japanese patrons can’t lie.
We eat here almost weekly, it never disappoints. We’ve tried other sushi restaurants in the area but none come close to Wataro in terms of freshness and taste.

Probably the best Japanese of the Brabant Wallon, everything is perfect, the food is gorgeous, if you are jap lover this is the place to be.

I can recommend this place; extremely fresh sashimi, well prepared, good service. Good choice, don’ t expect a romantic setting, interior is nothing special but that’s ok. Prices are very normal for Japonese food.

We got there at the end of December. The cook was nice enough to point out we probably ordered more than we expected since it was the first time we got there, and she was right. The food was excellent.
