The food was so beautifully made, looked so appealing, and the taste was somehow even better. Absolutely delicious food. The Asparagus with prosciutto was 1 of the best things I have ever tasted. The place is so unique and inviting. Chef Emily is amazing, can not say enough about how awesome she is. My wife and I definitely can not wait to come back.

We attended Tea at The Ardmore on Saturday, January 18, and it was such a lovely experience. The building itself is full of charm—beautiful, cozy, and full of character. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk in.
The service was excellent. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome without being overbearing. It felt relaxed, thoughtful, and well-paced.
And the homemade scones… absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—honestly one of the highlights of the afternoon.
Tea at The Ardmore is a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy good food, and soak in a charming atmosphere. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back.

I felt sorry for the server, as he was doing it all. There was so many items missing from the menu, they would have been better off not serving at all.

I love dining at The Ardmore! The food is always spectacular and the staff is just the sweetest. Not to mention, the building itself is just beautiful. I don’t usually leave online reviews, but The Ardmore truly stands out amongst other dining locations I have ate at. It deserves to have the good word spread about it! Always have I felt so welcomed, cared for, and comfortable at this establishment. Waiter Brad is the absolute bestest! I am so proud to have a restaurant like The Ardmore apart of my community.

Hospitality was top notch and I have no idea why this place isn’t packed every single day. The only thing I can figure is that it looks much pricier than it is, but the prices are very reasonable and the experience was phenomenal. Everyone in our party of 7 loved the food and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis, I can hardly wait.

I just completed a secret proposal/ party at the Ardmore, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The venue was perfect for it!! The rouse was that it was a family Christmas dinner, but all our other family and friend’s were behind the curtain in the adjoining room. They let us bring instruments and perform to bring her into the other room! After the proposal, the Food and Drinks were absolutely top notch! We had the salmon and steak, both were absolutely fanyastic!!Desert was a cheesecake for me and it was amazing as well! Emily is one of the new owners, right from the start she went above and beyond to help me plan out the evening! She is so friendly and energetic! Her wine taste is exceptional as well, she helped us pick the perfect toast wine! She called and touched base with me regularly and was flexible where needed! I really could not have asked for anything more 10/10 for food, 11/10 for customer service, 10/10 for beautiful Victorian venue/ atmosphere. Very grateful for all the help and the amazing experience!!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends. The food was spectacular as was the service. I have lived in St. Clair Shores for 30 years and never dined here. What a gem this place is! I highly recommend checking it out.

What a quaint location in a historic home! There is a nice feeling of privacy as there are only a handful of tabled in each of the several rooms. The server was very kind even if a bit inexperienced. The escargot was very good and a generous size portion. The loaded baked potato soup was unremarkable. The New York was well seasoned and cooked to order.
Stop by, listen to Don at the piano, have a meal, and see for yourself.

1st time here.. absolutely beautiful home if you enjoy seeing victorian style homes.
The home isn’t perfect as far as the details go but its what gives it, its charm. Feels “lived in” like it has lots of stories to tell. Loved it!
Pros:
very friendly service although attentive while slow, theres only 2 servers. Patience is needed if busy. Especially when checking out.
Got us in without a reservation but typically need reservation which was very nice of them to do.
Fesh baked bread upon arrival(very good)
I ordered the new York strip, with potato and salad. Steak was absolutely perfection! Seared on both sides, 1.5in thick, no gray band, cooked perfect, seasoned well and extremely tender for a new york..
Asparagus was also cooked perfectly.
Wife ordered the broccoli and chicken Alfredo. She enjoyed it. Broccoli was blanched so it was vibrant and still had some crunch for texture. Chicken was seasoned well and tender. She said the sauce & noodles were just basic. Not great, but good enough to come back.
CONS:
Salad was underwhelming. Soggy tomato’s(1 grape, cut 1/2) paper thin cucumber, runny dressing(homemade, just thin) croutons were rock hard. Just needs more ingredients & freshness level amplified.
Potato side was extremely small & definitely “leftovers” which explains the pureed potato soup…lol (not fresh) which is how chefs are trained to use all ingredients. I understand and respect it 100% Just not enough and didn’t match the other items.
Just needs something more to match the price point.
Tasted like split pea…lol
Just needed a fresh side..baked potato with salt crusted skin or fresh pile of mashed potatoes…asparagus was good but still need a good quality starch item..
Regardless of cons, we cleaned our plates….100% will return.
One of the best steaks ive had…im a ribeye guy and this new York was outstanding!
Im being picky but think they’ll do well in the future…hope the starters & sides get better.
Side note: live piano singer was, ummmmm….
Wishing he just played and didn’t sing…lol

We came for the Mother’s Day Brunch. The buffet had a nice variety of food choices. I enjoyed all the toppings for the salad. The beef with mushroom gravy was juicy. The service by Brad was outstanding.
