Recommend to go here after visiting the National History Museum. My wonderful server Emily recommended the chicken fried streak. It was great! Also had delicious mashed potatoes and salad. Devoured it! For desert I had to try the local dish of grape dumplings. A wonderful experience and exceptional treatment by Emily and the staff. Even though I was 2000 miles from home I was treated like family. Thank you!

I visited Fite’s Cafe yesterday for the first time. It exceeded my expectations! My whole experience was fantastic. Omelettes are an item I regularly order when out and I am not exaggerating that Fite’s meat lovers omelette is the best I’ve ever had. Their special seasoning is superb and the Sweet Potato fries were cooked to perfection! Thank you Fite’s Cafe for a great lunch! They serve lunch all day which is always a plus for me.

We went to Fites on 2-25-26 around 5 pm. I had the Hamburger Steak, fried okra, and green beans. The steak was cooked nicely with grilled onions and mushrooms. The green beans were cooked with bacon. YUMM! The fried okra was a little over salted, but nice a crunchy coating. The meal was served with fry bread and honey! It was all delicious!
The establishment was clean and the wait staff were very attentive!

Stopped in at this small local restaurant and enjoyed it! Plenty of parking. Service was excellent. Breakfast tacos were sooo good and the homemade salsa made it! Coffee was fresh. Omelette was yummy. If you are in the area I definitely recommend stopping by this location off the beaten path ✌️ ️

I’ve been eating at Fites since they were located on Choctaw Street. I’m glad to say that even after the move, the food and service have stayed the same, which is amazing. The server Katie has been especially awesome and attentive, she has served our group the past couple times of a local stickball team that I am apart of. We have been coming in once a month to eat and Fites and the service have never disappointed so far.

Excellent food, friendly service, fair prices. We loved it. The food was homestyle and tasted just like you were eating at grandma’s house.
The chicken fried steak is among the best I’ve ever had. We had green beans and mashed potatoes, both were excellent.
Also ordered an omelet and French toast, liked both of those as well.
Everyone was happy and enjoyed the meal. The employees were very friendly. Will definitely be a regular spot for us.

The chicken fried steak was the best that I have had in quite some time. The portions are very generous. I finished my lunch for my dinner. The fry bread with honey, makes you want more of it than you should eat. I have had problems getting normal brown beans at most places. They put chilli powder or some other spices in them and it messes them up. Fite’s beans have some bacon in them and they were very good. The service was excellent and the environment was friendly. It’s a little pricey, but for the quality and quantity that you get it’s worth it.

Prettiest gals in the Quah apparently work there… what are the odds- just sayin’ …oh, and sweet too-boot! Taylor was our gal and she was so friendly & helpful!! Something that my husband and I feel strongly about needs to be mentioned now: “THEY HAVE DIET MT DEW FOUNTAIN …in this establishment!!”. This is an anomaly that we don’t often come across.
Now… the serious bit… the food:
We shared, I know, were lame, but we’re sharers & we added on, so hush! We got the chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns… mmmm, guys!! Then we added biscuits & sausage gravy…. Lort, yall, that sausage gravy is heaven!!! Go check ‘em out. You will not, cannot be disappointed. Mic drop.

Fites opened not long after I moved to Tahlequah and quickly became a favorite, especially for breakfast. Their frybread with sausage crumble gravy is without question my favorite breakfast anywhere, and their catfish basket with the complimentary appetizer of frybread and honey is fantastic for lunch or dinner. My waitress Taylor always makes sure my cozy roserock coffee is topped up and the service and the food are always great. I always bring my viditing family or friends here because it’s got great options for everyone. The new location in town also looks great and I hope getting more street traffic keeps them in steady business. Go Fites!

We ate at Fite’ on a Saturday around 2pm. The restaurant was not busy but it took a while for the wait staff to take our order. We ordered an appetizer and once we got it we waited at least another 30 minutes on our food. Other tables around us, that ordered after us, got their food well before us. It shouldn’t take that long to make a Cherokee taco and chicken chunks. Chicken chunks tasted like frozen chicken and not worth the price.
When we got out ticket the chips and salsa we ordered showed $8.33 and the menu had $4. Thankfully they adjusted the price on our ticket but they said the menus all had incorrect prices. Why not fix them instead of hitting your customers with unexpected prices?
The wait staff had plenty of time to stand around and visit. They could take that time to fix menus.
